christ on a bike, cut it open more!?, *shudders* i cant handle the flesh tearing, pulling, ripping etc....urgh, this is not what i came here for! bleurgh
I just had the 2nd one in the same spot, between my shoulder blades cut out again this morning, it grew back since the 1rst one in June of last. Thing was the size of a grape! Hope he got it all this time. Now time for some indoor Canadian "medicine" for those tight stitches lol.
Is this guy a doctor? If so the idiot doesn't need to insert the forceps whatever like that all the moron needed too was just get a scalpel cut just enough of the skin to allow it too flow out but whatever at least this person didn't suffer too much damage to the outer and inner layers
@Kimberly12 Glad it worked with you too.. Right now mys kin is perfectly clear for the 1st time in 5years. Its been about 9weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling waking up with a clear skin.. Anyway, you got the name mispelled.. Its StopAcneNow.co.cc..
"Not for the Squeamish"--- Bitch please, I've been on this part of youtube for hours...And lemme tell you something---Cyst removal - you're doing it wrong
This was a fairly well done procedure. Ideally, you do not SQUEEZE a benign cyst, but try and get it out in tact with surgery. However, if the capsule (aka core) bursts open (which they tend to do often) then you DO have to squeeze out the material and get the pieces of the capsule.
This is not how to properly remove a sebaceous cyst. I worked in the medical field for 15 years as a Medical Assistant. The correct way to remove a cyst is to of course numb the area with Lidocaine, make a cut with a blade. The doctor will spread open the skin to get at the cyst with hemostats. Working very gently and slowly, the doctor uses the scalpel to cut the sack of the cyst away from the skin without puncturing it.
I decided to watch this video because I had the expectation that it was going to be decidedly gross and repulsive. In fact it was actually rather disappointing and even my very squeamish friend didn't bat an eyelid to this.
@thechimpful Actually you are. This is removal of a sebaceous cyst, not just pus popping like most videos you see. You have to cut out all of the cyst to make sure it doesn't grow back.
He didn't make the incision wide enough, he was cutting up and down the whole time, he marked it wayyy to small, so that is why it took him so damn long to get it out, if he followed the markings the correct way, it would have gone a lot faster, I know, I had three of them removed, and my surgeon had no problems. Hell I have one on my shoulder that I could take out myself
This is absolutly brutal. This looks like a kid just picking around ripping bits out. These are incorrect blunt tools, terrible methode. This will heal much slower and be much more painfull when the numbness wears off then it needed to be. Hes just poking and proding around "aimlessly"
@princecornerkick Join the club...I have, too. That's why I'm on here looking at videos. This appears to be the way my doctor removed mine and it's different from the way I've seen others done so I agree with you..this lady's cyst will probably be back.
I'm so annoyed that I have to go through this again because it grew back because some doctor messed up...
I've seen a cyst removal... This one seems to be done a bit incorrectly... The cut was also done a bit wrong... Looks more painful than the one I had seen...
@littlealamo I remove these myself at home ( I know, and I dont want to hear you comments about going to the doctor)..this guys a quack. I would be scared if this guy was gonna work on me.
@eyeammi The use of a hemostat is consistent with the standard of care. Epidermoid cysts, other than those on the scalp, are quite fragile. Moreover, it's hard to tell but this cyst looks tethered, which raises the likelihood of rupture to nearly 100% unless you incise VERY widely, which has its own problems (including a need to close with sutures).
If there is any infection then there is no chance of removing the cyst whole as he is trying to do. If he leaves even a part of that sebaceous cyst inside. I may still come back...but hopefully it wont be for a few years. You cant remove this type of cyst if it is infected. Thank you for sharing though, it was still fun to watch. I am so sick!
It did not impress me. No squeezing, no great cheese and the docs hand was in the way most of the time...but I know how they can be when it comes to filming. Great try really!
I prefer homemade cyst removal. I miss here screaming, shaking camera, etc ... ;P

If done correctly the cyst comes out like a ball.
