season three is absolutely crap compared to seasons 1 and 2. they seem to be trying to make parallels to the first cast:

Effy is like Tony

Cook is the party boy like Chris

Emily and Katie are dealing with Emily being gay like Anwar was with Maxxie and being muslim

Pandora is the best friend everyone thinks is useless but then gets a bf like Sid (but he gets a gf)

Freddie pines after Effy who is getting with Cook like Michelle loves Tony who gets with other girls

Well I mean just think about it. Think about the last episode of Series 2. It was a goodbye to the whole cast, they had their lives planned out, and it was a happy ending if anything. It would be impossible to continue following the characters lives when they are so spread out wouldn't it? And think how much that would suck, there would be NO interaction between any of the characters. Skins is about teenagers in their A-Level years. Not several university students with no connections.

Yeah but a WHOLE series about them getting back together for 2 weeks at the end of each term, and doing what? By then everyone has their own new life. They all said good-bye to eachother at the end of series 2 and made it clear that it was the last time they'd see eachother. But yeah a speacial guest appearence in series 4 would be good, like Tony coming back to sort out the trouble with his parents or somthing.

i heard it would be focused on effie, presumably her friends as well. i think effie's an interesting character, but seeing them in uni just won't be the same. it was watching them all grow and change which made the show what it was.

They dropped the old characters for a good reason, the end of series 2 was amazing, and it was a final goodbye to everyone, as they'd all made their decisions to go to Uni and so on, it would make no sense if they kept the old characters, and it would completley spoil the end to series 2. How are they supposed to make a story of all the characters scattered all over Britain, 2 in America and 1 Dead -.-. Think about it.
