I found out that in this game, you can rome freely around the battle arena, but if you get attack while moving, it causes extra,extra damage than you would normally get

Just emailed Kari Wahlgren. She said that the most likely reason why Namco changed the voices is because they didn't use union actors. She hadn't even heard of Dawn of the New World! She wasn't even contacted, and it's likely that Menville and the others weren't either. That kills any chance of Regal being the same, seeing as how Crispin Freeman only does union work. *sigh* This sucks...

Oh that sucks... all the voice actors are the same as in TOW:RM? I didnt mind them then because it was a spin off game but the same VA's are in the main games kinda ruins it

I am totally with everyone who's disappointed in the new voices. Symphonia sold so well- enough to warrant a better localization than this. By re-casting the voices, Namco is essentially giving the finger to everyone who played and loved the original game's voice acting- and nearly everyone did. Namco shouldn't be cheaping out by using a different VA company than the first (that's the reason why Raine and Lloyd are different).

Dammit, Namco. Raine was the ONE voice from the original Symphonia that DIDN'T need a change. My biggest problem here is that the new VA doesn't quite capture the essence of Raine that Kari Wahlgren left. Perhaps she does better in other points, though. Oh, well... I still have Sheena.

I was sad that her voice didn't stay the same, but I don't think this change was bad. It's not going to bother me at all. She sounds good (as psycho as she needs to) in Ruin Mode, but she sounds a lot like her original voice actress when she is serious. Anyone able to tell who plays as her? She sounds very familiar.. or maybe I'm imagining things o_O?

Lloyd's change really does bother me though. ~_~ I wonder if all the original cast is gonna be replaced with their RM ones? If so... Cam Clarke?!

Raine is voiced by the same woman who voiced Mitsuru from Persona 3 (FES). I actually prefer Lloyd's voice now because the VA did more work that the original VA from ToS. In Radiant Mythology, Lloyd was voiced by the same VA from ToS: DotNW.

what the?? I'm thinking that all the characters must have new VA's since both lloyd & raine do. I could overlook lloyd's because he was deserving of a more mature voice, but raine's (at least in ruin mode) doesn't cut it for me. I hope the others are better.
