@2oddballz well, seeing as how your daddy is married to his sister, your retard cousin is also your brother! Still, I bet he is the smartest member of your family...
@charlesclem ...LOL, Good comeback to 2oddballz's dumba*s remark ! But what else can you expect from a person who's only relationship is with kinfolk & farm animals? LOL
@2oddballz ...How many times has your daddy hauled you off your sister in the middle of the night, waiting for his turn? I can see where the downs came from !
Nice job...listen to the one I posted of a couple of guys playing the same song, only the fiddler plays a looser version.. It's interesting how each fiddler plays it different, but I like the variety of versions! Yours sounds great!
Actually they are not. Same instrument sure same thing not by any means. What you call a basketball a player calls "the rock", what you call a puck a player calls "the biscuit" Fiddlers dont play in orchestras and violinist don't play jigs or hoedowns. Please don't get us confused.
Yeah, their the exact same thing. I play both classical and fiddle music, so you can call it whatever. HOWEVER, some people are "offended" when you call there instrument a fiddle when they are classical players. Which I think is really lame, and they should stop because those words are synonyms for the ACTUAL instrument. =]
one of my favorites :D one tip: loosen your bowing wrist as much as you can. it'll definitely help improve your rigidity - right now, this sounds much more like a march than a bluegrass sound. still, pretty good :)
I also wanted to say that I have started playing the Viola (on my own at the moment) and hearing how this is played is great. I hope to play well enough like you some day. I just keep playing this one over again. I also like the Gypsy Violin. Very well done. I think that one would sound great with a viola.
I really like this arrangement. Probably the best I've seen on youtube.

This is really good! :) Best version I've seen yet. And it sounds great with the pre-recorded guitar in the background. Nice job!

@GoldenOldies60and70s Thanks! Isn't Youtube great? You can "road test" your comebacks/insults/put-downs from the comfort of your own home :)

Hei Man,
Your style is gypsy music,I think you play much better gypsy style than that style.

you look a little stiff, loosen up a little bit! and your bow was going a little faster than your fingers, there :-) I hate it when that happens.

Thank you Daniel. I love the dark sound of the viola although I never played on. I imagine the Alto Clef would be quite difficult to master.

Very good, I really enjoyed that one.

loosen up your bow (slightly) and press harder on your right hand index finger on down strokes and loosen up the index finger on upstrokes.
