I don't understand why so many people hate the prequel trilogy. In my honest opinion, the music of the prequels is superior to that of the originals. As for the dialogue being wooden, it's always been in Star Wars films. Besides, that's inconsequential anyway.That's not what they're about. Star Wars is a modern Flash Gordon, meant to invoke emotion of all types. In this it has succeeded.

What was going on behind the mask when Palpatine was electrocuting Luke? I am sure it was tears...he must have remembered Padme...then Obi-wan's quote "I loved you, we were brothers. You were the chosen one!" And then he remembered Palpatine telling him of Padme's death. Put that all together, and he has a strongly good reason to kill Palpatine.

@MsTania66 agree with you there, dialogwise Episodes 1, 2 and 3 are pretty flat, particularly Attack of the Clones, though I thought a couple of teh battles in it were good. The stories for 1 and 2 could have been better too, thought Revenge of the Sith was good, but not as good as 4,5,6 were. Though the music throughout the saga has been out of the top drawer, truely exceptional me thinks :)

pls i have a qs: i dont know too many things abut star wars. i've seen only episodes from 1999 and 2002 and then i was too curious to see the end so i watch the last part of the last episode from1983. so the actor who plays Anakin as a ghost at the end of te episode from 1983 looks just like the actor who plays Anakin in the episode from 2002. is the same person ? how does this happen?

yes, it is the same person. it's done with some new tecnical stuff (not too sure how)

but if you watch the original episode VI from 1983, you'll see that from the beginning it was not the same person. they've replaced "old" anakin's shadow with the "young" anakin's

yes because you can see only the shadows of the jedis. And the "good" Anakin died in EP3. Lucas Arts Ltd released a "Special Edition" with improved effects.

On the original version is who they used to have as Anakins 'shadow' but on the actual first disk they've changed it to be Hayden :) Which I like a lot more :P

Lucasarts in new edition just put Hayden Christensen(Anakin,Episodes II,III) head to body of Sebastian Shaw(Anakin/Darth Vader,Episode VI) in 2004 DVD release.If you have old from 1983 you will see Sebastian Shaw as original spirit.

Awesome score which fits an awesome franchise and a very dark and unusual love story which is compelling to say the least. This music represents Anakins good side so to speak and it is very well done and all credit to the composer. This love tragedy represents how strong emotions such as love can make people disorientated such as Anakin Skywalker.

That's why when they first met after 10 years in ep.2, she was very surprised and shocked that she actually found him attractive cuz it was like falling for a little brother you haven't seen in 10 years at first. The scenes with Padme's family on Tattoine were deleted, but they are included as an extra feature on the Attack of the Clones DVD. Although the scenes are quite good in hindsight it's probably best that they were not included in the film. If I was hiding from an assassin the last place that I would hang out is my parents house.
