I have/had this phone and I text A LOT! If you text a lot, it's not a good idea to get this phone b/c the swivel screen will break. The magnet connecting the screen to the actual phone came off, a piece of the plastic broke off, and a screw came out. And I know that you guys might be thinking, "well, they don't take very good care of their phone." but I really do! I keep in in a safe place and make sure I don't drop it, ect.

is your keyboard backlight lit up in your video because mine is always on even in broad daylight. I think it wastes battery and I was pretty sure there was a light sensor when I got it that would keep the keyboard light from being on in light. And i just don't like it being on.

Camera's on phones were never that great anyway. If you want a decent camera on your phone you should get the Sidekick Gekko. I think its a 3 mega pixel camera which is a huge upgrade from the typical cheap 1.3 mega pixel resolution.

I honestly believe that is for strictly prepaid only. With T-Mobile, its called Pay As You Go. I have the 300 MyFaves plan for 39.99, with the Sidekick Data Plan for 19.99. The Sidekick data plan allows you to have unlimited IM (AIM, MSN, & Yahoo), email, text, & web. And all of this basically comes out to 70 a month. But if your going prepay, whenever you want to use any of those things, you pay a dollar for one days use. And there's so many cool things about the phone. Just take a look.

I used to have the Sidekick iD for about 6 months, when it first came out. I kinda regretted not getting the SK3. But then I lost my iD, and went to T-Mobile, but they had stopped making the iDs. They then upgraded me, free of charge, to the Sidekick LX. Although I am happy with the LX, there's times when I miss my iD. If your looking which sidekick to get, LX or the new 2008. Don't get slide. They've been having problems. And it doesn't have the same "Sidekick" effect to it.

the thing about the id is that its suppose to be a basic phone. so i could understand why it doesnt have a mp3 player. but im a lil bit (a very tiny bit) upset that there is no camera. because there is no camera, the price is a lil too high. everything else about the phone is prestige. i luv it.
