Hey guys just a thought maybe you should take some ply wood to cover up that glass window put some sheet metal on top of the plywood to shield your nuts and cut a square hole in the sheet metal covered plywood and fill the hole with a 3/4" to 1" piece of plexi glass to shield your glass door. You could even put some hinges in to make it swing open. Im sure the cost would be way less than it cost to replace the glass in that door the last time. Just a thought.
