I just love these two beauties. Meena Kumari esp. in 1:37 sooooooo STUNNING! Madhubala oh sooo sweet and glamourous. However acting ability Meena had the edge cos I think nobody could portray the depth of sorrow or heartache as she was able to and had such gracefulness in her dancing.. Both are stunning in their own ways.

Hmm let me see what these two beautiful films have in common. Well first of all both movies have muslim social plot, both heroines were muslims and both have a muslim music composer Noshad. Muslim ladies ruled the bollywood : nargis, asha parakh, sharmila tagor, meena kumari, madhu bala, zenat aman, mumtaz, praveen boby, saira banu, reena roy and ofcourse hema malini who converted to islam to marry dilwar kahn (dharam jee).
