It became a rivalry when CU starting putting teams on the field that could compete. Yeah, the win loss records favor the huskers, but since 86' it's been a close rivalry. (especially when the husker fans put that billborad up dissing Sal Aunese after he passed away) Records are one thing, no class is another. Thats why Buff fans hate the huskers.
and ice balls and tire slashing isnt classless? i agree, the billboard thing was pretty classless, but throwing ice balls at nebraska fans' cars and slashing their tires, thats a whole different category.
