UT Austin is a terribly overrated university. The high-drama and venality of UT Austin started back several decades ago: the venality persists until this day. @nitinopp - she was asked to leave ILLEGALLY because it is a public campus and the police are not LEGALLY allowed to stop a legally Constitutional gathering. They are only LEGALLY allowed to stop a CRIME IN PROGRESS. Have you never had to deal with the police prior to a crime happening and they say there is nothing they can do until a crime happens?

If a person has been asked to leave the campus by a member of the university while the police are present, the police are forced to enforce the request. If the person still refuses to comply they are officially trespassing. While Public Universities may be "public," they still have moderate sovereignty. I'm not saying what they did is right, i'm just letting you know it was completely legal.

I'm a conservative and probably disagree with all of her politics, but she clearly did nothing wrong and her civil rights were clearly violated by UT Austin. Also, the guy in the video is also a conservative, and I doubt he believes that woman's politics either, but look at him defending her rights! Read your Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the intent of our founding fathers found in their writings. Read about the ones who didn't want the Bill of Rights because then the list would be taken as exhaustive. Read the Federalist papers and the Anti-Federalist papers.
