Not nessecarily. When people create stuff like this, I think it reminds us of the threats we face, and maybe, just maybe, helps to warn us not to take such risks.

It also is tragic, the idea of kids having to lose their innocence too soon. Learning they need to fear at such a young age. Like kids who live in war zones.
