Such a waste of a character like Cottonwood, by no means am I saying he was good, even by big men standards he wasn't, but that is because you do not put big men who look like him with a slightly psycho gimmick in tournament type things like NXT. You put vignettes on TV, give him a manage and have him squash jobbers in IMPRESSIVE shows of strength and brutal moves, train him and then put him against real guys (Or keep him in FCW longer).

Different looking guys need to be packaged differently, if you have a 7ft guy who plays a psycho type gimmick he needs to be played differently to other guys and vice versa. He needs to no sell a bit, talk less but say good eerie one liners and have a good manager, be difficult to knock off his feet and be overpoweringly strong e.g. Undertakers debut.
