Having "boxing skills" isn't synonymous with being defensive. It's takes amazing persistance, endurance and toughness to fight like Kirkland. Julio is a good boxer with knock out power and Kirkland steamrolled him. When people carry on about Kirkland getting exposed by a great boxer...I wonder who this great boxer is. Does he exist at 154, 147...or is he simply in the imagination of haters who try write off any young prospect who shows promise.
Lesser men than Conyers would have gone down for good much earlier than when the ref finally stopped the fight, although I do think the ref should have stopped the fight earlier.
I give credit to his woman trainer for getting him this far, but if he wants to take his game to a greater level hes going to need a better trainer. He has the tools to become tyson-like but hes too rough around the edges.
His trainer is Ann Wolfe, probably the hardest hitting female boxer to exist. There's a vid of her on here knocking out some 6 foot 5 inch woman out cold with one punch - - - I'd say her and Kirkland are doing just fine.

Cintron isn't half as tenacious as Kirkland and he hurt Perro and made him look slow. Kirkland has quicker hands and throws in combination.

Having "boxing skills" isn't synonymous with being defensive. It's takes amazing persistance, endurance and toughness to fight like Kirkland. Julio is a good boxer with knock out power and Kirkland steamrolled him. When people carry on about Kirkland getting exposed by a great boxer...I wonder who this great boxer is. Does he exist at 154, 147...or is he simply in the imagination of haters who try write off any young prospect who shows promise.

Lesser men than Conyers would have gone down for good much earlier than when the ref finally stopped the fight, although I do think the ref should have stopped the fight earlier.

I give credit to his woman trainer for getting him this far, but if he wants to take his game to a greater level hes going to need a better trainer. He has the tools to become tyson-like but hes too rough around the edges.

His trainer is Ann Wolfe, probably the hardest hitting female boxer to exist. There's a vid of her on here knocking out some 6 foot 5 inch woman out cold with one punch - - - I'd say her and Kirkland are doing just fine.

You must be a Mayweather fan - run, pot shot, run, pot shot, etc... it's boxing, but it's not exciting. Kirkland and Conyers trading shots and knocking each other down.. THAT'S exciting. KO's = exciting.

Idiot? pick a book and learn some logic will you, a statement does not equal it's converse. If a guy thinks Boxing started with Tyson he would think that Boxing was about knockouts, that is a separate proposition from whether knockouts started with Tyson

Yeah Kirkland vs Angulo would be an amazing fight but he has to beat Julio tonight first and that's not going to be easy. One thing I'm sure of is that the fight tonight is going to be a great action packed fight that will end by a KO. So we the fans are going to be happy no matter who wins!!!!!!!!!!!

The primary factor in JULIO's next fight with KIRLAND, will be the punching power, who can hit harder. IF KIRKLAND makes his start as he use to do, JULIO'S corner can prepare a game plan consisting of COUNTER ATTACKS. In this way they will be able to catch KIRLAND in the early rounds, and even give him some punishment, who knows fi even JULIO and his corner with doing this, are able to KNOCK OUT KIRKLAND. However I desire a good luck to both fughters.

Kirkland was stagered by a right hand that partially landed. Angulo has a serious right hand and a solid chin. I'm looking forward to this fight.

i have never heard of this angulo fellow, but he sounds like hes got a workrate on him. i watched that tsurkan guy fight not to long ago with feliciano and he looked pretty good so he must be doing something right, especially throwing 1211 punches in a bit less then ten rounds. cosme rivera should give him a good fight though, that dude seems to always give young up and comers a challenge of some sort :)
