  • ''SPIELBERGIEN''

    I LOVE IT!

  • he profits from WWII like nobody else

  • 0:32 Exactly so the holocaust wasn’t a colourful time in history, it was a struggle for survival in direr times.

    "Munich" was tense drama

"War of the Worlds" is good for showing-off a well balanced home cinema.

  • Spielberg is the best sci-fi director ever!!!

i just cant stand tom cruise, minority report, war of the worlds has its great moments...i just cant stand tom cruise, A.I is one of my favorites, expecially when Ministry plays live in the robot dismemberment arena. just proove that spielberg has great taste in music too.

but lately..the new indiana jones??..what happened,,that was the worst piece of garbage i ever saw

  • Tom Cruise Vs Jack Nicholson, Tom Cruise Vs. The Spies, Tom Cruise Vs. The Japanese Army, Tom Cruise Vs. The Space Aliens and Tom Cruise Vs. the Nazis! Coming soon: who knows!

  • I loved Ai. There was never a more moving sci fi movie... besides District 9. I hope the director of that movie gets as good as Spielberg.

  • I prefer A.I. over E.T.

  • A.I is a very hard film to watch, towards the ending especially if you have ever lost a mother..I bauled my eyes out with hurt and hunger to see my own mother again and spend time with her.

  • SCHINDLER LIST redefines film making. its the very reason reason why film are made.truly breathtaking and moving. i still feel that i witness the holocaust in front of my eyes.

  • war of the worlds was so not a good movie

  • don't argue with the master Mark

  • the best film maker ever SPILBERG TEACHES us how 2 make HISTORY by CINEMA. SCHINDLER LIST IT'S his best work ever because of the INCREDIABLE work dealing with the most outrages subject in HUMAN HISTORY - THE HOLOCAUST

  • Minority Report is my favorite spielberg movie and they skipped it wtf!

  • cause it sucks lol

  • AI might be Spielberg's worst film. At least The Terminal and 1941 aren't trying to be something they're not. I don't hate Spielberg at all, I admire many of his films, but he's no Stanley Kubrick. Sorry.

  • Talk when you have made a blockbuster.

  • I hate statements like that. Just because I haven't made a blockbuster doesn't mean I'm not entitled to my opinion, just as you are. Get over yourself.

  • Indeed entitled to an opinion, albeit a crappy one.

The reason I said talk when you have made a blockbuster is, if you have done a movie of any means you would know how complex the process of directing is, and to say that you know what another persons idea of what they should truly be doing is outrageous especially if you know nothing about their profession dick.

  • Where are you getting all this shit? All I said was I didn't like AI and you're leaping to the assumption that I know nothing about making films. I'm currently pursuing a major in Film Studies and Production. I've made short films on an old Bolex camera with 16mm film and post-synch sound. I know how difficult the process is so don't talk to me like a child. Some films work and some don't. End of story. So get off your high horse. Your arrogance impresses nobody.

  • Michael Bay makes blockbusters. That doesn't make his work in any way watchable.

  • No, it just shows their production value.

    Jackass

  • Stanley may have been an extremely intriguing visionary and an incredible filmmaker, but he is not as well known as Steven. I respect Stanley immensely and am grieved I could never have met him & "picked his brain" a bit, but still think Steven is just as good, in his own way & right.

  • @tall32guy Stanley is better and is the best in our history, that doesn't mean that all like his movies are better storywise or more popular then Stevens wich they probably aren't, but the ammount of perfection and details in every situation of a Kubrik film is incredible. Stanleys movies are far more complex on every level. But I personally like Steven better for the reason less can also be more.

  • A.I. was an amazing film

  • AI = Work of art

  • OK just to make it clear,

OCD Director means that they're like a passionate imagination dispenser. Constantly they see something, and they constantly HAVE to write it down or try and work something off that to further it, to make it make sense, to give it purpose, how to incorporate it. Its constant, it never ever stops and it ALWAYS will get out of control, making the whole thing seem like a mess. But its a good trait none the less. As speilberg explained, he was getting faxes at 2am.

  • A.I. makes me cry everytime I watch it.

  • A.I. Was great, Kubrick should be Proud!

  • 'Should?!' He died before seeing it

  • Sorry for my english. I meant would.

  • no problem, just wanted to make sure.

  • how could Mark walk through the set of a

    1 year old movie...?

  • Maybe the set was preserved, for people to visit.

  • anybody who thinks WAR OF THE WORLDS is better than MUNICH is outta there minds!

  • spielberg says about kubrick "he was almost OCD as a filmmaker", what does that mean?

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

A good film that explores OCD is "The Aviator"

  • i think Spielberg is saying that Kubrick had such precise visions and ideas, he was almost a perfectionist in the art of film-making.

  • kubrick did suffer from OCD...

  • @amesh67 It just means that Kubrick, as I'm sure most directors are, was a control freak when it came to his vision for what his films would be, thematically and visually. And who wouldn't be?

  • @amesh67 kubrick wanted to control almost every miniscule aspect of his films and took dozens of takes to make sure everything was absolutely right.
