Brazil lost histrue heroIn some areas he is even more admired than soccer players) after his death, irreplaceable, the last pilot before technology took over and turned F1 in to an Xbox sort of a game
Incredibly Senna's family lived few blocks from my House(north area of Sao Paulo) ,and back in the days 80's and early 90's , people use to race on the surrounding streets of the neighborghood. We even use to call an "S" shaped curve ,the Senna's curve .Alot of us crashed ,and some eve died on the curve .For some reason in that same area most of the people were speed addicted ,Nobody cared about soccer ,just nuts and bolts!Miss you Senna.
@arg0nauta - I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said, but must clarify that it was ESPN commentator John Bisignano who made the comment about luck (it was skill, not luck, that made Senna great, but I think he meant it as an expression, as in his "number was up")
Ayrton did not ran out of luck, like Frank Williams says. Ayrton was a victim of a mechanical failure, the car did not slide or skid of the ground nor did he turn into the slide, he was much better than that...he truly was the best. The steering on his car broke, and that is why he is no longer with us...don't make it sound like it was his mistake.
Ayrton Senna's death instigated the inclusion of many safety feature on formula 1 cars. Today's cars are so much better equipped. So in this respect, Senna's death was not in vain. It perhaps saved many lives in the future. God bless Aryton Senna!!
What an amazing man, an amazing driver. An amazing movie in dedication to his life, I wish I had have been alive when he was racing. Just amazing, may he rest forever in peace.
This tragic case move me deeply also before many years when it happens, and make me sad still now..He was a legend I think,he was a brave and really good man, human with great heart...Rest in piece, Ayrton Senna!
I hate saying things like this but anyone who dislikes this video is just downright disrespectful. I watched the film for a second time tonight and I tried my best to hold back tears, to no avail. Such a moving story ='(.
@HoustonLoveMetallica The majority is in English as the story is told mainly from Senna's point of view using actual footage, and he was fluent in English (in several languages, actually). A few of the commentators speak in English, but others speak Portuguese, naturally, since Senna was Brazilian. Some of Senna's interviews are in Portuguese too - all of this is subtitled in English, so no worries. Incredibly moving portrait of a truly GREAT man. You will be inspired, trust me.
i wanna c this so bad, my dad wanted one of his kids to love formula 1 and so he chose me his daughter as my brother went to watching circles (nascar), ive learned over what my dad has taught me, senna was a fighter, a believer and a hero to the people who looked up to him. it was definatly tragic the day senna deid, the 5 dislikers are like my brother, a typical dale sr fan who doesnt give a crap about anythin else. c'mon f1 fans lets show nascar how its done ;)
The driver that had that horrific crash back in 1990 and survided was Martin Donnelly. Saw the Senna documentary today the pain for his loss is still the same as the day he passed away.
EXCELLENT movie! Fantastic racing footage, gives you an incredible insight on the personality of Ayrton Senna, the politics involved in the sport, and how he affected not only the racing world but his home country Brazil. Really showed the complex relationship and deterioration of friendship between Senna and his teammate/arch rival Alain Prost. EXCELLENT documentary, I will probably go see this again!
A Good Man. Unmatched driver. Excellent film. The whole sport, everything, was so different then. Of course, we all knew how it would end. Not a dry eye in the house. Highly recommended...
No one will ever come close to Senna. I used to be excited to watch F1 racing today Its boring... i was a young kid when he died. I never seen such a big funeral in my life. I remember it like today. I lived in Brazil at that time and when they pronounced him dead... Every neighbor was out their homes crying... I never seen anything like it! " Hes simply a Legend "
@MrPaulista26 You´re totally wrong, you know nothing. He's simply...God! ;) And you're totally right: No one will ever come close to Senna, nobody, no one, none! After May 1st 1994 13:00 F1 changed for ever, and never will be the same. Ayrton took the real amazing F1 to heaven with him. Numbers and records may come "higher" but is not the same F1
loool wow so much passion about f1 in this convo. passion that can only be brought out of people by the likes of Hamilton and SENNA.. Hamilton may not be the most concident and may not always make the roght choices but he amongst others has revived modern f1 with his mesmerising driving. driving which u culd only compare to Senna
well, about the Prost/Senna siege: have you guys heard what Ayrton said about the french pilot while driving test at imola 1994?! Senna missed him very much.. he was his raison d'etre!
@OaktownWhiteboy Never heard of him? When were you born? Yesterday? You must be American (no offence). Totally agree on the comment that it touches sth deep btw...
I have seen this movie so many times and i have cried through all the times i have seen it and it shows that we will never have a driver like Ayrton ever again. He was one in a million, he was a f1 legend but not only was he a legend he was a hero. He was kind and had respect for everyone. Off track he was calm but on track he was fierce and daring and that's what f1 needed was daring drivers, when ever people could see him coming up behind him they knew they had to move.
I remember 0:10. It was one of the first f1 races that I watched back in 1991. After watching that (Senna), I became an F1 fan and a big fan of Senna. When he died, I cried my eyeballs out.
alief54 when you see the film you will realise why Senna took Prost out. It was all politics and Senna was cheated out of the championship the year before after Prost tried to take him out. Prost retired but Senna managed to get going get a new front wing and had 5 laps to catch and pass the leader. He won but Prost protested to his friend and fellow French man and at the time the president of F1 and Senna was disqualified. 1990 Senna got pole and Prost was 2nd but during the night Prost's fri
This was the best movie/film/documentary I have ever watched in my entire life. When it comes out where I live, I will see it at least another five times.
@Euclides287 No he wouldn't. Senna wouldn't crash into other drivers. Don't get me wrong Lewis is an awesome driver, definitely one of the best on the grid, but Senna was just on another planet. This is coming from a Schumacher fan btw. Michael is the 2nd greatest driver ever in my opinion, behind Senna...
@tortoise117 Errr, does Suzuka 1990 tells you anything? Lol=D I used to be a massive fan of Schumacher butlets be honest, imagine if he had Montoya has team mate instead of Barrichelo who by the way wasn´t allowed to race with schumacher, what a joke F1 was back then, that´s why loads of F1 fans, me included turned off . And that´s also why Schumacher is not even considered 2nd or 3rd best of all time by the experts. It was far too easy and fake back then. No wheel to wheel racing what so ever.
@Euclides287 Hmm why not look at the time before then. No, I definitely think Michael is in the top 3, Brundle has said that he is top 3, but Senna is the best. Schumi was great even before his domination. 2000 was incredible for him. Note how in 1996 Schumi didn't have the best car by a long way and finished 3rd in the championship, and won 3 titles. I like to look at the beginning of someone's career to try and judge them, as they would have no reputation and would usually be in weak cars.
@scoot24925 So does hamilton. He equalled alonso in his first year of formula 1. Also carries out more overtakes than anybody else on the grid. Youtube ' Hamilton Silverstone GP2'. He's by far the best driver to watch of the current generation, just as Senna was. Senna however was a superior qualifier but if you asked Senna what driver he would pick to have in his team he would probably pick Hamilton
@scoot24925 What´s this? Another die hard vettel fan?? It´s not just me, F1 fans and journalists compare Hamilton with Senna because he´s the most exciting driver to watch since Senna. You´ll never see me saying Hamilton is as good as Senna. Senna is God of F1 and Hamilton´s master. My point is, the reason why he´s the most popular and exciting driver of the grid is because he has the same mentality of his master about racing!. Watch Senna´s interview with Jackie steward to see what I mean.
@Euclides287 Whos vettel? And hamilton is not a driver for what he has done in the last 3 races,Senna did not crash into every driver in the race and you should be ashamed comparing Seena with him, only 2 drivers i find exiting in F1 for now,Kubica and Kobayashi.
@scoot24925 Hamilton and Alonso are by far the two best drivers in F1. Put them in a red bull and you´ll a proper fight for the championship! Because neither of them is winning people now say Vettel is the best of the world and hamilton is crap. China 2011 is still the most exciting race so far. It was pure racing and his overtakes without having to use the DRS says quite a lot about him. Kubica, more exciting than Lewis?? LOOOOOL You´re the only one who thinks that...
@Euclides287 your a fanboy who still whatever i tell you you never will change, and read me last comment well, you missed someone else, unfurnately kubica is out this season, but last season with a kit car he did the best, and i am not talking about last years hamilton, but for last 3 races hamilton, for what he did he erased all the respect me and more F1 fans had for him.
@Euclides287 Canada 2011>China 2011. I completely agree with scott, Lewis lost a lot of respect in Monaco especially. Hamilton is nowhere near Senna. He has the potential to be one of the best but Senna was one of a kind.
Someone said Senna would pick Hamilton as his teammate...would he? Who are you to say who Senna would pick?
@tortoise117 It´s not just me, it´s the majority of senna´s fans, and F1 comentators who compare Lewis with Ayrton. I think you´re not reading my comments properly. what part of "Senna is the best of all time" you don´t understand. No one is or will ever be nowhere near him in terms of racing skills! I agree with you regarding monaco, but SINCE THEN please tell me what has he done to lose all your respect???
@Euclides287 His driving style is indeed like of Senna, but in terms of skill and talent I don't think he is. If you mean driving style, then very well I completely agree with you. His atitude and drive in Monaco made him lose some not all of my respect to him. Canada didn't do anything to gain it, but he seemed to have matured since monaco, and his reaction after Canada was fine. It's his driving in Monaco and to a certain extent Canada that's losing him respect from rivals and viewers.
@tortoise117 Yeap, he was driving well and was the only one challenging Vettel. He was faster then anyone else in Q2, Q3 looked promising but Maldonado´s accident spoiled his Q3 and the rest of his weekend is history... Therefore I agree with you, but like I said it was ONLY MONACO!! People need to get off his back! In canada, where his considered the king, you can´t blame him for having a go. Have you heard what MB and ED said about the incident and whose fault it was?
@Euclides287 I believe they sided with Lewis on this one. I don't think it was Jenson's fault to be honest, and yeah Hamilton was right to have a go, but it was in the rain and with a gap that's closing it's a big risk to take in the rain. Had it been in the dry he would've made it no doubt, but Jenson couldn't see a thing. Unfortunate incident really.
@tortoise117 We finally agree with something!! Despite some people saying that Jenson did it on purpose I believe he couldn´t see him because of the heavy rain... I can´t see Lewis winning another championship unless he goes to red bull or ferrari. The new rules just made mclaren even weaker! FIA is a joke and still belong to ferrari! I think it´s time for Ron Dennis to get his car keys back, coz that Witmarsh doesn´t have what it takes to lead mclaren to a championship victory.
@Euclides287 Yeah I really like Whitmarsh, but I think Dennis was vital to McLaren and well they haven't produced a truly dominant season or a season where they had the best car throught since 98. I reckon in 07 they had the best car, best drivers, but shot themselves in the foot that year. Last year I think they didn't have such a bad car, I mean Lewis was leading the title up till Monza and Singapore where he lost it all. Red Bull are still miles ahead though...
@Euclides287 As a mclaren fan I too have noticed they we aren't firing on all cylinders *no pun intended* I kind of agree with the Dennis, whitmarsh topic you got there.
@Euclides287 Canada 2011>China 2011. I completely agree with scoot, Lewis lost a lot of respect in Monaco especially. Hamilton is nowhere near Senna. He has the potential to be one of the best but Senna was one of a kind.
Someone said Senna would pick Hamilton as his teammate...would he? Who are you to say who Senna would pick?
Though I do like Vettel...very talented dude, in the best car yes, but believe me even if he was in a McLaren he'd be giving the others a pretty hard time.
@bagnballs Judging by the recent results, Hamilton has been very inconsistent indeed, so therefore he´s way too far from being as good as Senna, like some people predicted at the end of the 2007 season. But I hope you understand why he´s so compared with his master.
@Euclides287 I started following F1 back in the early 80's. After watching Senna's peformance at Monaco back in 84' i have watched every F1 race to this date... unfortunately the same can't be said for yourself. You oppinions and views are based upon what you've read and heard. Senna and Gilles Villeneuve are the most exciting drivers i have watched in my lifetime. Made Schumacher's career look so boring.
@bagnballs I never said Hamilton was as good as Senna. All I´m saying is that Lewis is the most entertaining driver to watch because he has the same driving style of his master. That doesn´t mean he is as good as Senna. There´s another racer who had the same driving style and was hunted down by the FIA and the media, precisely coz like Senna and now Hamilton, he´s an aggressive racer and speaks his mind. I bet guys like you were amongst his haters, /watch?v=RAaBiLauXxQ&feature=related
@Euclides287 i was young enough to remember him race in the early 90's and i remember seeing he died on espn before i saw the race i taped. i went and saw the movie in feb 2011 when it had a special screening in LA so i'am a huge senna fan. when lewis came out in 07 he reminded me a lot of senna not in just his choice of helmet color but his driving style that many non senna fans back in the day didn't like. w/o these type drivers F1 would be boring & they can win without having the best car.
@Euclides287 have you people looked at senna track record during his 10yr F1 career? yes he had the most poles before schuey took the record but he also had a lot of dnf's because of his driving style. in 89 alone he had 6 dnf's out of 16 races. there are drivers and there are racers. drivers will drive to bring home points for or to secure a championship, ex:schuey, alonso, vettel, button. then there are racers and they race only to win and they don't know how to drive any other way.
@nysdgiants As much as I love Senna´s and Hamilton´s driving style, I kinda agree with you. But then again, when Lewis´ aggressive style pays off, the outcome is fantastic!! Look at races like China and Germany. With the latter being considered by far the best of the season! Those races are what the fans want to see.
the two Schumacher an Senna are all cheaters, just look at 1990 Japan GP why Senna crashed Prost like that he could've been killed still great trailer though i really can wait for that movie
Prost is a little hard done to,Mansell is reduced to a journeyman who only won because he had a techically superior car, again a little harsh on Mansells driving ability as he was a talented driver, but theres no doubt despite being a little biased in the editing (to be fair the Senna family commsioned this)it show what a talent Senna was and a true legend that went beyond the sport in the same way Ali was within boxing. Even if you hate F1 this is one hell of a film. One hell of a film
Formula 1 died on the 1st of may 1994. Ayrton Senna isn't only the best Race Driver of all times but also one of the greatest man of our generation! He will always live in the hearts of the ones who watched him racing or ever figure out what he did inside and outside of the Formula 1. Senna, you left us because your mission was accomplished in this lifetime, and for us, you always going to be a deep inspiration... through your honesty, passion. Thanks for teaching us so many things.
F 1 wil never be the same..... i was 14 years old when he died and i stilll remember that day.every time i watch a documentory about him it is impossible not to cry, i still ask why him? he left this world to stay on history forever.
While I acknowledge he was certainly one of the fastest formula one drivers ever seen (the fastest?; who knows?); I would fall short of calling him a "true sportsman" as many do. Watching the 1990 Japanese Grand Prix on TV I saw him deliberately run Prost off the road, I saw the 1991 German Grand Prix where he to intimidate Prost by deliberately swerving into him on one of the straights, and wasn't this the man that tried to crowd his teammate (Prost, yet again) into the pit wall, Hungary 1988?
i think this will be the best film i will ever see. is this film out in empire cinemas now, as according to the website, their release date is the 21st, not the 3rd
I saw the movie tonight & it's a brilliant tribute to a true F1 legend. Rock & Roll had Elvis Presley F1 had Ayrton Senna he will ALWAYS be the king of Formula 1. The difference between Michael Schumacher & Ayrton Senna is Senna could put a crap car on pole & win races Schumacher couldn't that's why Senna is a true F1 legend & Schumacher got lucky he only got his 7 world titles because Senna was dead, if Senna had lived he would've ate Schumacher up, chewed him up & spat him out, R.I P Senna
I'm quite disappointed that people here are making more comparisions about Senna and Schumi. Give it a rest! In my eyes Senna is the best ever and Schumi is second to him. And this is coming from an all out Schumi fan. I don't think anyone should criticize either of them. It's not like Schumi came out saying he's the best ever. Schumi was the best of his era, Senna was the best of his era. That's just the way it is :)
@tortoise117 I don't like Shoemaker because of his attitude. In many ways Prost and Shoemaker are the same. They both will bend the rules, do unethical things, and excercise their influence just to win. But I'll never forget the move he did on Villeneuve. The move he did on Damon Hill.
The thing is, now that Shoemaker is was finally put into his place, I kinda wish he did prove me wrong; that he can make a compelling comeback.
@Smegma007 Yeah of course everyone has their opinion. I respect yours. I too wish he could be a bit more competitive, but the Merc isn't brilliant right now, and Michael isn't as quick as he used to be. Nevertheless, I still enjoy watching him and still am a massive fan of his :D
I just got into F1 racing and have only watched one F1 race in my life (Monaco last weekend) But even though i have so little experience i still know how much of a legend Senna was and still is. I cant wait to see this movie and to learn more about this amazing sport.

After May 1st 1994 13:00 F1 changed for ever, and never will be the same. Ayrton took the real amazing F1 to heaven with him. Numbers and records may come "higher" but is not the same F1

Hamilton may not be the most concident and may not always make the roght choices but he amongst others has revived modern f1 with his mesmerising driving. driving which u culd only compare to Senna

R.I.P Ayrton Senna.

alief54 when you see the film you will realise why Senna took Prost out.

Euclides287 8 months ago 21
@Euclides287 No he wouldn't. Senna wouldn't crash into other drivers. Don't get me wrong Lewis is an awesome driver, definitely one of the best on the grid, but Senna was just on another planet. This is coming from a Schumacher fan btw. Michael is the 2nd greatest driver ever in my opinion, behind Senna...
tortoise117 8 months ago
@tortoise117 Errr, does Suzuka 1990 tells you anything? Lol=D I used to be a massive fan of Schumacher butlets be honest, imagine if he had Montoya has team mate instead of Barrichelo who by the way wasn´t allowed to race with schumacher, what a joke F1 was back then, that´s why loads of F1 fans, me included turned off . And that´s also why Schumacher is not even considered 2nd or 3rd best of all time by the experts. It was far too easy and fake back then. No wheel to wheel racing what so ever.
Euclides287 8 months ago
@Euclides287 Hmm why not look at the time before then. No, I definitely think Michael is in the top 3, Brundle has said that he is top 3, but Senna is the best. Schumi was great even before his domination. 2000 was incredible for him. Note how in 1996 Schumi didn't have the best car by a long way and finished 3rd in the championship, and won 3 titles. I like to look at the beginning of someone's career to try and judge them, as they would have no reputation and would usually be in weak cars.
tortoise117 8 months ago
@Euclides287 DO NOT EVER COMPARE HAMILTON WITH SENNA AGAIN. and two idiots agreed with you,Hamilton is a fucking prick,Senna had pure talent.
scoot24925 8 months ago 2
@scoot24925 So does hamilton. He equalled alonso in his first year of formula 1. Also carries out more overtakes than anybody else on the grid. Youtube ' Hamilton Silverstone GP2'. He's by far the best driver to watch of the current generation, just as Senna was. Senna however was a superior qualifier but if you asked Senna what driver he would pick to have in his team he would probably pick Hamilton
liamsharky 8 months ago
@scoot24925 What´s this? Another die hard vettel fan?? It´s not just me, F1 fans and journalists compare Hamilton with Senna because he´s the most exciting driver to watch since Senna. You´ll never see me saying Hamilton is as good as Senna. Senna is God of F1 and Hamilton´s master. My point is, the reason why he´s the most popular and exciting driver of the grid is because he has the same mentality of his master about racing!. Watch Senna´s interview with Jackie steward to see what I mean.
Euclides287 8 months ago
@Euclides287 Whos vettel? And hamilton is not a driver for what he has done in the last 3 races,Senna did not crash into every driver in the race and you should be ashamed comparing Seena with him, only 2 drivers i find exiting in F1 for now,Kubica and Kobayashi.
scoot24925 8 months ago
@scoot24925 Hamilton and Alonso are by far the two best drivers in F1. Put them in a red bull and you´ll a proper fight for the championship! Because neither of them is winning people now say Vettel is the best of the world and hamilton is crap. China 2011 is still the most exciting race so far. It was pure racing and his overtakes without having to use the DRS says quite a lot about him. Kubica, more exciting than Lewis?? LOOOOOL You´re the only one who thinks that...
Euclides287 8 months ago
@Euclides287 your a fanboy who still whatever i tell you you never will change, and read me last comment well, you missed someone else, unfurnately kubica is out this season, but last season with a kit car he did the best, and i am not talking about last years hamilton, but for last 3 races hamilton, for what he did he erased all the respect me and more F1 fans had for him.
scoot24925 8 months ago
@Euclides287 Canada 2011>China 2011. I completely agree with scott, Lewis lost a lot of respect in Monaco especially. Hamilton is nowhere near Senna. He has the potential to be one of the best but Senna was one of a kind.
Someone said Senna would pick Hamilton as his teammate...would he? Who are you to say who Senna would pick?
tortoise117 7 months ago
@tortoise117 It´s not just me, it´s the majority of senna´s fans, and F1 comentators who compare Lewis with Ayrton. I think you´re not reading my comments properly. what part of "Senna is the best of all time" you don´t understand. No one is or will ever be nowhere near him in terms of racing skills! I agree with you regarding monaco, but SINCE THEN please tell me what has he done to lose all your respect???
Euclides287 7 months ago
@Euclides287 His driving style is indeed like of Senna, but in terms of skill and talent I don't think he is. If you mean driving style, then very well I completely agree with you. His atitude and drive in Monaco made him lose some not all of my respect to him. Canada didn't do anything to gain it, but he seemed to have matured since monaco, and his reaction after Canada was fine. It's his driving in Monaco and to a certain extent Canada that's losing him respect from rivals and viewers.
tortoise117 7 months ago
@tortoise117 Yeap, he was driving well and was the only one challenging Vettel. He was faster then anyone else in Q2, Q3 looked promising but Maldonado´s accident spoiled his Q3 and the rest of his weekend is history... Therefore I agree with you, but like I said it was ONLY MONACO!! People need to get off his back! In canada, where his considered the king, you can´t blame him for having a go. Have you heard what MB and ED said about the incident and whose fault it was?
Euclides287 7 months ago
@Euclides287 I believe they sided with Lewis on this one. I don't think it was Jenson's fault to be honest, and yeah Hamilton was right to have a go, but it was in the rain and with a gap that's closing it's a big risk to take in the rain. Had it been in the dry he would've made it no doubt, but Jenson couldn't see a thing. Unfortunate incident really.
tortoise117 7 months ago
@tortoise117 We finally agree with something!! Despite some people saying that Jenson did it on purpose I believe he couldn´t see him because of the heavy rain... I can´t see Lewis winning another championship unless he goes to red bull or ferrari. The new rules just made mclaren even weaker! FIA is a joke and still belong to ferrari! I think it´s time for Ron Dennis to get his car keys back, coz that Witmarsh doesn´t have what it takes to lead mclaren to a championship victory.
Euclides287 7 months ago
@Euclides287 Yeah I really like Whitmarsh, but I think Dennis was vital to McLaren and well they haven't produced a truly dominant season or a season where they had the best car throught since 98. I reckon in 07 they had the best car, best drivers, but shot themselves in the foot that year. Last year I think they didn't have such a bad car, I mean Lewis was leading the title up till Monza and Singapore where he lost it all. Red Bull are still miles ahead though...
tortoise117 7 months ago
@Euclides287 As a mclaren fan I too have noticed they we aren't firing on all cylinders *no pun intended* I kind of agree with the Dennis, whitmarsh topic you got there.

bagnballs 5 months ago in playlist Liked
@bagnballs Judging by the recent results, Hamilton has been very inconsistent indeed, so therefore he´s way too far from being as good as Senna, like some people predicted at the end of the 2007 season. But I hope you understand why he´s so compared with his master.
Euclides287 5 months ago
@Euclides287 I started following F1 back in the early 80's. After watching Senna's peformance at Monaco back in 84' i have watched every F1 race to this date... unfortunately the same can't be said for yourself. You oppinions and views are based upon what you've read and heard. Senna and Gilles Villeneuve are the most exciting drivers i have watched in my lifetime. Made Schumacher's career look so boring.
bagnballs 5 months ago
@bagnballs I never said Hamilton was as good as Senna. All I´m saying is that Lewis is the most entertaining driver to watch because he has the same driving style of his master. That doesn´t mean he is as good as Senna. There´s another racer who had the same driving style and was hunted down by the FIA and the media, precisely coz like Senna and now Hamilton, he´s an aggressive racer and speaks his mind. I bet guys like you were amongst his haters, /watch?v=RAaBiLauXxQ&feature=related

@Euclides287 i was young enough to remember him race in the early 90's and i remember seeing he died on espn before i saw the race i taped. i went and saw the movie in feb 2011 when it had a special screening in LA so i'am a huge senna fan. when lewis came out in 07 he reminded me a lot of senna not in just his choice of helmet color but his driving style that many non senna fans back in the day didn't like. w/o these type drivers F1 would be boring & they can win without having the best car.
nysdgiants 5 months ago
@Euclides287 have you people looked at senna track record during his 10yr F1 career? yes he had the most poles before schuey took the record but he also had a lot of dnf's because of his driving style. in 89 alone he had 6 dnf's out of 16 races. there are drivers and there are racers. drivers will drive to bring home points for or to secure a championship, ex:schuey, alonso, vettel, button. then there are racers and they race only to win and they don't know how to drive any other way.
nysdgiants 5 months ago
@nysdgiants As much as I love Senna´s and Hamilton´s driving style, I kinda agree with you. But then again, when Lewis´ aggressive style pays off, the outcome is fantastic!! Look at races like China and Germany. With the latter being considered by far the best of the season! Those races are what the fans want to see.

Smegma007 9 months ago
@Smegma007 Yeah of course everyone has their opinion. I respect yours. I too wish he could be a bit more competitive, but the Merc isn't brilliant right now, and Michael isn't as quick as he used to be. Nevertheless, I still enjoy watching him and still am a massive fan of his :D
