is the video shows a pt with a bloody leg, possible fracture.. being move to the backboard without even exposing the injury... is this the training the chief is talking about? if you get retirement for your job the least you can do is to learn it!.. no wonder LA County would not take CFD... oh i forgot with V. Capelli as part of CFD no one will take you guys... oh well... retirement is still coming right?... even if you dont know what you are doing on scene..

@ff4life332 Better to start working on a pt in the RA rather than on the shoulder/lane of a freeway dumbass. Do you take your sweet time on scene? or have you learned to work on a pt en route yet? If the pt stable enough to NOT have to work on enroute, then you can take the extra secs to move him inside the RA. Those pants are acting as a sort of splint, even if he had a femur fracture you wouldnt be able to use a traction splint. Are you a new medic or just another idiot "by the book" medic

@ff4life332 wow do you have any experiance as a ff/medic at all cause sure don't sound like it, they did it perfect i would not ever compramise patient saftey or care unless it's absoloutly life or death situation, it's a good idea to make sure your patient is properly packaged and secure before you move them i am willing to take a few extra minutes on scene to be sure of it, and im sure any level headed and properly trained medic or emt would agree without question

@ff4life332 i did not get this far in my career being a know-it-all, and i sure the hell didn't earn my promotion that way, iam guessing you probaly never have had any experiance in ems at all, and fyi i know how your type thinks you know more than anybody, Ive been a ff/medic for 13 years and an ems division chief for 6 years for kansas city fire so i do know what iam talking about and i have plenty of experiance in ems
