It doesn't matter if hand nailed or coil nailed (this is a preference). Both nails have the same shear strength, and both hold the same, it's just old school v.s new

Guns are faster, you just need to make sure your pressure is set properly so the nails don't rip through the shingle. Also proper nail placement, quality over speed is still the bottom line.
Guns are way more productive! You can still do a 100% job with hand nailling but it will take 4 times longer! It all depends what kind of teacher you had!

Not really proper way to do a valley, your setting it up for a cut valley, weaved valleys are stronger, looks like you put a nail little to close to the valley to for a cut valley.
You are not the fastest hand nailer .There are plenty of guys that could beat you .Try putting more than five nails in your hand.Maybe like 20.Show me a video with you putting on a full bundle of 3-tab(26)shingles in 1 minute 45 seconds.Then I will believe you.Been there and done it.
Nice work, As a homeowner I don't care how fast it gets done, I want it done right. My last installer gave me a written guarantee for the full 25 years of the advertised shingle life, that stated he would replace at his expense any damage due to water infiltration from the roof. That was 15 years ago and my attic is still as dry as dry can get. And yes he is still in business, and yes he still comes out and inspects the roof every year.
