But then from Popwell's viewpoint, we then see that when Clint pulls the trigger, the cylinder (which should remain locked) rotates again while the hammer rises and falls on a spent cartridge. Popwell's viewpoint has erroneously shown the cycle in double action mode even after Clint was earlier seen cocking the hammer to fire the gun in single action mode.

Unless you've been around a .44 Magnum, you have no idea of how scary these things are. I was on the good side (firing one at a paper target) of a Model 29 S&W. I came home with it, cleaned it and put it away for almost three weeks. I thought someone snuck around and hit my gun with a baseball bat. It kicks THAT hard. That was with .44 Specials.
