In 1972 my Guide was Nicolai, he took us to the Rouge, was a steaming hot mud pit, that kept growing larger.
They had some real cool looking striped dog's,they had black stripes. The guide said it was a rare Australian Tiger, looked like a small striped dog to me. also saw some tazmanian devil's , Fat cats. They were loud. You are lucky to live there, what a wonderful place.
@HEWESREDFISHER16 woah, if you took pictures of the Australian tigers there are probably a great deal of people willing to pay good money for them, that species supposedly went extinct in the 1930s...
Many Lifeforms on this planet should be worth more than a peice of paper "A legal Tender Note" :)' If you tell humans where, they will simply put them in cages, isnt that what good humans do to other species on this planet, many times they put other humans in cages:)'. Alway's remember that the experts =EGG SPERTS are usually wrong, and the majority of their finding's are based on the love of hearing their own voices:)' & or their book's:0', Best Wishes to you kid. .
AWESOME!!! i saw geysers in yellowstone, but none that shot straight up in a thin jet like the lady knox geyser. still, it brings back a lot of good memories. is that mask thing (sorry) in the steam vent?? because if it is, wouldn't it damage the features??? just wondering, but the steam around itmakes it look so eerie.
the maori dance thing (omg so sorry for being a dumb american) is cool too.

I find Rotorua a facinating place to visit with all the thermal activity. The smell takes a little getting used to though.
