Canadians are employed in the industry, they make money, they spend that money, and the entire economy benefits over a long period of time. As for this Ron Paul discussion, he HAS to win, or there is going to be huge problems. The way I see it, the only possible options for the long terms survival of the western world is for Paul to get in (a good start) but also for a complete revolution in terms of how power and "democracy" is structured where everyone has a say. The states are involved in numerous wars for oil without the will of their own people, this will attract huge hatred towards us.
