  • Whats the track ?

  • @simin19100 Adiemus, songs of sanctuary :)

  • @Teetopia Thank you :)

  • How many programs for the poor childrens of Europe does this organisation have? You have any ideea how many childrens are dying every day in East-Europa due to poverty ?

How can you say you are going to Africa to help, when you are unable to help your own nations first ?

    This is just wrong.

Slove your own problems back home first, and after that you can try to help others.

  • Some roadies came to my school today and showed me the video and i was so inspired! Great video i am doing the fundraiser so i can hopefully win the trip to Uganda!

  • Does anybody know what the background song is called??

  • I SEE You Children! I SEE YOU!!!

  • @kcsinnott, thank you for the support and kind words!

  • Invisible Children is such a great organization to get involved in. It makes me sad that people doubt it because there have been organizations that have been fraud or scammed people. This is not the case for Invisible Children, I just wish everyone would see how amazing their work is.

  • Save the Children

  • We are learning about this in school right now. We watched the film Invisible Children. It changed my life. God Bless xxoo

  • It is called invisible children because those children are black and a part of it is about the children sleeping in the dark night on the ground?

  • @PhillyMW2 no it's called invisible because many people ignore the fact that there are little kids who live like that...

  • @findyourresolve captain obvious has entered youtube

  • @PhillyMW2 you asked in the first place lol...

  • @findyourresolve It was a retorical question idiot.

  • @PhillyMW2 I'M LIKE SO OFFENDED OMG :O

  • @findyourresolve Like i mean to offend you, you are just being really dumb and I correct you

  • @PhillyMW2 lol and yet you failed to notice that my last comment was sarcastic too... anyway, this is going nowhere, let's just end it, k?

  • @findyourresolve Lol you are so dumb, you say it was sarcastic, so that means i didnt offend you at all. So I say i didn't try to offend you so your arguement is invalid. obv=obv

  • @PhillyMW2 of course that's what it means. I wasn't offended even if you were trying to offend me. But anyways, you're obviously the smarter one here, I am inferiorly 'dumb', as you keep saying it, so all hail your magnificent IQ *bows*

  • @findyourresolve Lol and again ur being dumb. I told you I didnt try to offend you, im just trying to correct you. And ofcourse you reply back with "I wasn't offended even if you were trying to offend me." Do you even read everything is say or do you read like 50% of it?

  • @PhillyMW2 yes you were right all along thanks bye

  • i cant wait to be a roadie!!!!

  • i cant wait to be a roadie!!!!

  • im doing a play at school about invisible children, even doing the play is hard to do its very sad and moving

  • Invisible Children is a good cause. But what have they done for Uganda so far? They haven't built any structures in the 7+ years they have been there. Half of the money goes to media and another 15% goes to administrative costs. If most of our money isn't going to you, why should we donate to you and not UNICEF?

  • @iLikeToGryn

Right? There's something very suspicious about this group.

  • You guys are a joke! Anyone can look for a way to profit off of feigned concern for children. Most of the "abducted" children didn't even have parents! And you get government grants and ask for donations based on exaggerations and lies about the LRA???

  • 2) YOU EXPECT those kids to be left in the gutter with a bastard like Ugandan dictator Museveni??? They're not living in poverty because of the war, because of the corrupt dictator! They need to be TAUGHT TO DEFEND THEMSELVES! It's not your country! You ARE the ABDUCTORS! You're seeing your last days at this extremely invalid cause. Everyone wants to look for a way to get money but no one ever really stops to think do they. NO. Obviously not.

  • @TheFinalTestament Ooooh, so they're the reason that they are running every night in fear of being forced to join the LRA. Oh, and they're also the reason that teenagers are being forced to marry when they are as young as 14 and bear the children of their forced husbands. That makes a lot of sense...

  • @JJtheJaxartosaurus

You wanna talk about who kills kids and mothers, look no further than the USA. The kids of the LRA mostly if not all are orphans... or were. People know the conditions in parts of Africa, fall for the lie so easily and act surprised to learn that a child cannot be made to kill what he doesn't have - parents.

Have we learned nothing from Libya? They pull off their own revolution and there the US is right now as we speak taking it over. Uganda has oil, btw. You're like nazis.

  • @TheFinalTestament you obviously don't understand the purpose. This isn't any kind of political mission to take over countries or take over people. It is simply out of our hearts to try and help children who go through hell every single day and all night. If you don't support it are you just trying to troll?

  • @JJtheJaxartosaurus

Don't call me a troll when you've got nothing uploaded. If you can't understand what a troll is then I won't expect you to understand my purpose. How is it not political if they're registered as a non-profit? Surely it was politically sound enough for them to be approved.

Expand your mind and get a full view of the world before you bother to subscribe to causes that actually inhibit freedom. IC profits (grants or any funding) off of tearing up communities.

  • @TheFinalTestament So, I have actually gone through your profile, and you seem like a really nice and down to earth person. I'm sorry if I've offended you. But, that said, I still support Invisible Children, something about their organization seems different to me. I understand that these children will most likely never be given an opportunity to live a life that we would consider normal, but that still doesn't mean that they should have to have a terrible life under rule of the LRA.

  • @JJtheJaxartosaurus

The whole country lives under a dictator. There's a reason the LRA exists. There's nothing different about IC. They should take a shot at the corrupt Ugandan government who I believe is responsible for most if not all mutilations. Museveni wants to put gays to death so it's not far fetched to believe he is behind the mutilations for political gain. I cringe at those kids being "rehabilitated" when we first worlders live under such a poisonous, hateful, murderous rule. Think.

  • @TheFinalTestament

    2) LRA has a shot at achieving true freedom, something that richer countries really do not have. Invisible Children is disrupting that, but we cry the LRA is abducting children. That is SO fucked up.

  • @TheFinalTestament go to invisiblechildrencom when they come they always bring someone who has had personal experience with the LRA

  • @hameldacamel

Well when those kids learn how fucked up other cultures are they may begin to understand LRA's position. I'm still waiting on those funding details.

  • @TheFinalTestament you know what i want you to hear your facts... i keep on hearing you saying that they are lying about the LRA... that they don't abduct people.. I've seen people show me scars and their personal accounts and thousands of videos showing the atrocities of the LRA... and yet I've still seen none backing up your point

  • @hameldacamel

Better watch more vids of the atrocities the U.S. creates in the world before running to "rehabilitate" African youth. I'm still waiting on that detailed info on how InvisibleChildren is "privately funded". You can't ABDUCT ORPHANS, literal orphans or orphaned by the state. But you can... ABDUCT... children by going out of your way to another country to "rehabilitate" other children. Messed up what's happening but there's a revolution for you. No one's calling out Museveni!

  • @TheFinalTestament its funny how the people who would be rehabilitating would be mostly africans.... still i have nothing to prove to you... i have all the evidence in videos and stories... yet when i ask you to tell me your facts, you say were going in to abduct children.....when you go on the website and you press ABOUT then you press Faq it clearly tells you it is private company...nice try(sarcasm)

  • @hameldacamel

There's no evidence in vids/stories, only lots of propaganda, as if the "rehabilitated" world didn't have its issues of violence or the Ugandan govt's shit didn't stink. So u choose to single out the most oppressed, voiceless of them all. I'm the one who has nothing to prove - I don't ask for $, privately or publicly. I use my time to empower those in need, not the already powerful. U have lots to prove but we ain't buyin' it. So who's the independent rich guy funding this?

  • @TheFinalTestament first it was made by three students who went to Africa and realized the problem going along their...two you have still not shown me any facts that this is "propaganda"... three can you please reiterate on your last comment

  • @hameldacamel

I'm still waiting for news on that awesome rich guy who is "privately funding" the propaganda.

  • @TheFinalTestament whatever im done... you realized you have no facts so now your just repeating your questions without answering any... if you have any questions look on the website invisiblechildren(dot)com

  • @hameldacamel

Oh, I very much explained my POV. FUCK invisible children and what their "rehabilitated" children say. LRA needs a voice, not IC.

I'm glad you're done. (nice try)

  • @TheFinalTestament shut the FUCK up and go away. You're so ignorant.

  • @mrsuriemartin

Um, honey you're a little late to the party. lol

OH and congrats to IC for their million dollar winning from Chase cares! Yes, Chase cares, just as any bank would to take over the world. Had no idea I was talking to millionaires. Again, congrats! :D

  • @TheFinalTestament You're a bad troll. Stop it.

  • @theundone1

I'm a terrible troll, yes. You're a great troll, you don't show yourself. Never fails. The people who hide call other people trolls. I don't get that but it's funny all the same.

  • @TheFinalTestament You also don't understand the term troll.

  • @theundone1

Sure I do. Stop trolling and make a point.

  • @TheFinalTestament I'm going to go away while you can keep being ignorant and oblivious. Goodbye.

  • @theundone1

    Great meeting you, have fun.

  • @TheFinalTestament funny how this is privately funded and not by the government... nice job finalTestement(sarcasm)

  • @hameldacamel

Good, gimme all the detailed info you got I'd like to know.

  • @TheFinalTestament 2) The purpose of this isn't to leave children in the gutter! They are raising money to build rehabilitation centers for children who have been forced to join the army. They are trying to get rid of Kony and his terrible army, then rehabilitate the children.

  • @JJtheJaxartosaurus

What's next? A nice dose of poison ritalin for these kids? Accept the way of life you're used to is not for the entire world. I can understand neighboring Ugandans taking ORPHANS and teaching them to defend themselves. I mean Invisible Children IS part of tyranny. You're rehabilitating them in a world where people are convinced it is ok to kill men women and children over fake cries of terrorism. U don't say shit then. Children are abused all the time in the US. Ur point?

  • name of the song please? i love it, gives me goose bumbs

  • Wow

  • omg, i love this song what's the name of it?

  • @abixD101 Adiemus - Enya

  • Wow. what a great piece of work. awesome. Keep it up. not enough people are brave enough to do something for the kids in need. If we all do what these guys did we would make a difference. Well done. Also, take a look at 2 more sites. Real Christos Coin.youtube and Diana's Secret Journey.youtube. Both these vids raise money for multiple childrens's charities. Be inspired and keep on keeping on. amen.

  • And can anyone tell me the name of this song?

  • We watched this video at a church lock-in and ever since I haven't been able to get these kids out of my head. Spread it around, these kids deserve everyone's help. Just like one of them said, don't forget us. I won't, will you?

  • It's hard to believe that this is still going on... even with all that's been done... but that just means there needs to be more voices... Sooo many voices -- that they cannot be brushed aside!!

  • This is what defines true human nature. EVERYONE needs to see this. Please favourite it and like it. Do your bit!

  • They already visited my school last year!

  • They are going to visit my school soon! When my teacher showed us this video, chills ran down my body. I want to buy a bracelet as well! How much are they.

    paypal- jwr95111

at aol since youtube wont let you put email. thanx for the support.

  • it's so sad to me that people often criticize and make fun of those who do things like this to help other people, telling us that we're wasting our time, and that we are not truly helping anyone, and that we should be worrying about our own problems. But I'm so glad that there are people out there who aren't like that, who realize that everyone, no matter where they live, deserve our help no matter how far away they are. Even if we can't save africa, it's worth every person IC helps

  • We should study how these children got invisible and make invisibility cloaks and stuff like harry potter.

  • Get with the program and "GO"!

That's their new saying I think. I just saw their presentation at our school :)

I think many should consider participating in this program.. I am =)

  • This documentary is amazing! It makes me so sad, but hopeful. I hope everyone helps contribute to this cause and save the people of Uganda.

  • I, along with many of my friends, are going to start helping this program as much as possible. I ask that everyone that watches this video go to there website and buy a bracelet. It will change your life forever1

  • I may have my window open, but thats not why I got chills. :)

  • omg thats soo sad

  • i became a member of my invisible children there are five of us thats it but in the last month we raised over $5000 we all have given up so much but feel no regret we tied are selves to a flag pole for 3 days to raise money and for more people to know about us so dont take a thing for regret!

  • @skymornstange I know you wrote this a year ago, but thats amazing! =D

  • This is a very good program! Global Night Commute 2 summer 2010?

  • what is the song playing in the background?

  • Adiemus by Adiemus

  • I first heard of Invisible Children through a commercial at my school. They were selling bracelets and also collecting books for the children in Uganda. Since then i have joined our local Invisible Children Club. And at this very moment i am editing a video for our Benefit Concert organized to help the Invisible Children of Uganda. I cant wait to finish school and do all that I can to help. Jason, Bobby, and Larren thank you for opening my eyes.

  • Invisible Children came to my school. I'm not like other people that watch this and 4get about it. I saw the emmy video. I cried and laughed. I want to Join but I want to finish school. The emmy video really opened my eyes. I asked for things for christmas from the website. They changed me. People should open there eyes and see whats happening.<3

  • if you watch this video, go on facebook and search for chase community giving. Donate your vote to invisible children to win 1,000,000. Today is the LAST day to vote and IC is in first place but it won't be for long without more votes! It isn't over till it's over. Make it happen!

  • vote for invisible children with the Chase community bank giving!!!

  • hey if anyone has a facebook account look up invisible children and look for the chase fundraiser. vote for invisible children to help them win $1 million dollars. They really need this! Tell everyone you know!!

  • i just bought a braclet :)

  • @godlygunsmithxx12

Despite what you may think, your comment doesn't make you look intelligent.

  • Most people watch this, leave a stupid comment, then forget about it because they realize that there's nothing they're going to do about it.

I sometimes think these things are just an excuse for more hypocrisy to those who watch it.

  • I'm guessing your a pure bread redneck? where your moma's your sister and your daddy's your uncle... no one said they were coming to live in North America, its global awareness of how bad life can really get in other countries.. and how fat cats like you ..should remember that if we all work together t help make the world a safer and more sustainable place to live then everyone wins..

  • please everyone just think about this!

yes you are right; this problem does only affect africa, but to make this world a better place we need to halp whereever we can!

in uganda young children are being abducted and trained to kill...and to die.

if you were one of those children would you want help?

    don't lie...help

  • Wonderful

    mel.

  • @1wsufan please explain how we are being scammed?

  • Invisible Children is an incredible organization - not a scam. I'm a high school teacher and was part of their summer '09 Teacher Exchange program. I was in Uganda most of last summer and got to see the work that IC is doing firsthand. Here, they're media and advocacy based, but in Uganda they're doing amazing things with micro-finance, womens' empowerment, and education. We are citizens of the world, and we need to take action for people being oppressed, whether here or abroad.

  • This is like the opposite of the Holocaust, this shit is real.

  • 1wsufan how can you be so freaking selfish we are talking about other human beans and Africa has been fighting in there own war to stop what is going on....

does anyone know the date that they are going to have the global night commute for 2010???

  • @1wsufan wow you are so fucking ignorant, that is a totally different world than over here, our problems are nowhere near theirs...we're in a recession and we can afford gas prices big fuckin whoop, the people over there are thankful just to be alive tomorrow, we wouldnt be able to live a day in their world

  • amazing video. amazing! what is the music behind it?

  • Comment removed

  • Its Adieumus by Karl Jenkins :)

  • did you guys go on the rescue yet? if so tell me how it went or how its going thanks!

  • i know someone who escdaped from uganda...her parents were government senators, so they almost were killed but came to Canada with nothing, and now she's a senator. amazing story

  • omg we watched it in my world geography class and i was getting depressed but i makes me want to help!

  • WOW?

    WHO CARES????

UR AN ASSHOLE.& are obviously going through something really terrible..i hope thats why you said that..or you just dont have a heart!

  • Comment removed

  • i watched this movie in my social studies class. & i almost cried.

  • Me too! I watched it when I was in 7th grade

  • i want to go uganda and help the kids myself ... wthh... i cant sit here and just let this happen.

  • joseph koney looks like rick james...

  • Larynn looks like Nick Jonas.

  • Except Nick would be too much of a pussy to even think about doing this.

  • There is a gourmet coffee company that gives 10% of all profits to the Invisible Children of Uganda. Here is the site if you'd like to check it out: boreshacoffee

    . com/amanda

  • Man, I wanna be more involved by this but I dont know how to do it. Ive seen the documentary and Ive told some pple about it. I read a book written by a former child soldier, Ishmael Beah, and gave the book to some pple so they can read it as well. Im at the U of M TC, but I dont know how to get more involved in this. Any idea?

  • if you go to the website there's a lot of programs that you can get involved in. If you still go to school you can start a schools for schools program, or become a roadie. Doing what you're doing now is perfectly fine, the first step to this all is always educating people on the subject.

  • go on the official website and donate and get pictures of the children and a braclet

  • My school had an assembly about this today, they let us sign a petition to get Obama to put Uganda as a higher priority, or we could sign up for this thing where we pay a certain amount of money toward Uganda each month.

I signed the petition but I wasn't sure about donating though, my family's been pretty tight on finances lately. I mean don't get me wrong I seriously want to help.

  • do we really want Uganda to be a higher priority? I'm pretty sure that we as Americans have plenty of our own problems to deal with right now. let Africa deal with their own problems.

  • no offense but Africa would have been better off if America and the rest of the West stayed out in the first place.

True, the US has tons of problems themselves,

but as long as YOU personally don't do anything about it

you have no right to look down on people who fight for a better world!

  • Okay guys, I have an idea. Now I didn't know about this organization til today & I wanna get the word out so I think we should organize a mass donation simultaneously around the world to draw attention to this organization globally. Now I want everybody spreading the word on the streets & online & saving money & necessities while we decide on a date & time of utmost importance to the Ugandan community to donate across all time zones. I'd like this translated into all languages. Spread the word.

  • Check out my "Invisible Children" video. Help spread the word. Help DISCOVER THE UNSEEN.

    Thank you.

  • i have the white bracelet!

i want them all though, wouldn't it be amazing to go to Uganda?

I hope Northern Uganda sees peace one day, actually all of Africa.

Everyone should support this charity, it makes you feel better. (:

  • i have been involved in invisible children for 3yrs now! I have the shirts and all the bracelets that are available. My school started the Invisible Children Club my junior year by one of my best friends. I was made one of the officers. Then my senior year I was made vice president but the pres. was hardly there bc he was always busy. So I basically ran it. I am now going into my second year of college and I still help out. I absolutely love this!!!!

  • So how do I get me one of them bracelets?

  • yeah, I'm starting a club too. and doing a fundraiser and awareness events.

  • I've seen lots of the vids and they still make me cry ='(

  • this video gave me the chills, those kids are true heros and people others should look up too.<3

  • I started crying when I saw this. I'm applying for roadie with them and this is...idk. Just. Hopefully I'll be able to make a difference with them, you know?

  • Fantastic work guys!!

  • I remember when I first saw Invisible Children.

It was about a month ago, In World Civilization class.

We all watched it in silence.

And at the end I was choking back tears, and all my friends were crying.

This stuff is really messed up....

I'm unsure how I can help, seeing how I'm only a fourteen year old girl...

But I really want to help.

Please. Someone give me an idea or two about how I could help.

Thank you for opening my eyes.

  • I'm starting a club at my school. set up one at ur school. fundraise...raise awareness. get your friends involved...show the movie...make a difference. The 3 of them made such a huge difference...who says you can't?

  • thanks for ur help,

    girlnamed0jen

  • i made a video for the foundation :D i hope you can check it out!

  • does any one know if invisible children have any programs i can join that will help me visit Africa so i can help?

  • well they do have an intership and if you raise the most money or books or come up with a clever idea&post it on youtube you may have the chance to go to Africa.

check out their website for more info&their vid about the golden ticket

    hoped this help

  • i herd these african kids use plastic wraps stuck in the sewer as condoms some are even reused

  • yes, that's true. they mention it in the Invisible Children Rough Cut

  • adiemus - enya :)

  • can sumbody tell me the name of this song

  • adiemus by adiemus

  • dude we gotta something

  • This is such an amazing cause!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • there are people who do care in our economy and for those people who do care, then let them, who are you to judge our nation when we have rights and freedom. Wouldnt you want freedom for any human being?

  • First off! this is a fundraiser for people of our country who can afford and want to help other people!! This whole world is going to shit. If we don't start helping each other whats going to become of our whole human race! There people too with just as much emotions and feelings as you have so before you preach about how shitty our nation is doing maybe you take a look at the bigger picture...
