@NewWorldRob Characters in the ad were those from the Mister T animated series that aired on NBC from Sept 1983 to Dec 1984 (and replayed until 1986). Mr. T Cereal by Quaker Oats (makers of Cap'n Crunch, both cereals tasted similar) was first introduced in 1984 and famously appeared in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (1985) with Pee-Wee Herman holding the box and saying "I Pity The Fool". Though the cereal was discontinued in 1986 boxes were left on shelves until completely sold out around 2004.
