  • you built on carpet but othrwise great job

  • good video mate

  • why are you running the memory in single channel? get slightly better performance if you had the ram dimms in the correct slots to run dual channel...

  • @gdfschimpi007 Yes, I fixed that about a day after posting this video.

  • Cpm[pact is cool for the screws on the freont of thge case i hade that happen beforee and they were a bease to me cuz i just tooks them off and used them

  • And the mobo doeasent come with screws usually only case does depends though where u buy from and good job on the build bro later

  • FAIL you forgot the motherboard standoffs! I hope it'll scratch itself to death on the back of the case

  • @gagaruku I forgot nothing. That's how it fits into this case.

  • @Zaranyzerak Well that is a HP stock case it has built in motherboard stand offs that what the bolge is in the screw hole areas built in stand ofss are known for stock cases like hp

  • @gagaruku your a clear retard it has built in stand offs for micro atx boards, he bought that board to fit with his existing case

  • DUDE... it might help if you zoomed in. GODYOUFAIL

  • @imheated My computer works. I'd say that's a win, not a fail. And who ever said this was a tutorial? What exactly am I supposed to be zooming in on? Is it that important you see an extreme closeup of me plugging in a cable? Or unscrewing a panel? Do you need to SEE the screw being removed to understand what I'm doing? Are you somehow not able to see the MASSIVE motherboard being fitted into the MASSIVE case? Is there some fine, minute DETAIL of that you feel you're missing? Whatever.

  • @Zaranyzerak dont worry haters are gonna hate :)

  • He hasn't yet tripped ass over tip yet which is amazing if you think about it - and knowledge of yoga is also helping - lol!

  • lol a WD green is really slow for the system, you should buy a WD blue at least!

  • @jetpack1986 Considering I was using an old IDE drive prior to this, the SATA Green is SCREAMINGLY fast in comparison. Next drives will be the Black for sure. Mainly got the green because it's high capacity, Western Digital and I got a deal on it.

  • sickers and screws come with the case not the parts =]

  • @flopez425 I've got screws with some parts before. No biggie though, I had plenty of spare screws laying around.

  • The best thing to use for screwdrivers on a computer are basically nut drivers, if you notice a lot (if not all) the screws you put into a computer have the hex head on them (1/4 I think, I could be wrong). Phillips generally are pretty good, but you have to have the right size screwdriver. If you have the wrong size, and it's a extremely tight screw it'll strip it out if you're not careful. But don't get me started on flat head screws, I hate those with a fiery passion.

  • Did U use standoffs on the Mother Board B-4 attaching it to the case? I hope...

Six cores, Full ATX Case equals Lot's & Lot's of $

My Full Tower was about $850 and that was only 4 cores, I re-used several devices.

IDE vs SATA... No contest SATA hands down

And I recognized some of the music from your Blade Runner reviews.

  • hey zarany, just to let you know that with the memory modules, you should install it from the second slot and the 4th slot away from the cpu socket for only two memory modules for optimum performance.

  • I KNEW you'd have trouble with those plastic cases. They should be banned. A total hazard.

  • "How do you open this damn thing?" Well, first you cut yourself on the plastic, then you scream in terror and rage, then you gnaw at it with your teeth, then you ruin your boxcutter on the incredibly tough plastic, then you yell "WHAT THE FUCK!! AND NOW THERE'S BLOOD EVERYWHERE!!" and then you get the best scissors you have and just tear into that fucker. The end.

  • your music just fits perfect to this sort of vid. If I ever saw this before I built my very first computer a few years back it sure would have saved me a bit of trial and error =)

  • "Just start screwin'!"

    That's what she said!

  • Just to let you know you made 2 errors until there. You put 2 ram stick on the same channel ( that why the 2 colors) it will work but will not be using the dual channel capacity of your motherboard. And the best screw is not square but it's Nintendo triangular ones. Unfortunately they are very rare.

  • @Zaffo256 Nice, I like the sound of that triangle one. Even more support per side, that's awesome. Thanks for the tip with the RAM, didn't know that! I'll swap one over to the black channel. This is the first board I've had with Dual channel capability, so I dind't even know about that... Live and learn!

  • You are the shit my friend ,i am definitely gonna do this now.I been buying laptops for a while and always wanted to build a pc because everyone says it's cheaper .Thanks !

  • No Ads? must be the background music right?

  • @2Old4Toys The background music is my own composition, so it shouldn't be a problem. The ads just might not be active yet, sometimes it takes a while for them to kick in.

  • @Zaranyzerak when we declare any music used in a video, that take more time before letting the 1st ads roll, compared 2 no music. BTW, I got messages from subs in Germany that some of my new vids were barred from their viewing. Those vids so happened had background music. The Germans r super conservative & regardless of copyright ownership, will block any video declared using music... Makes me reconsider going full on with use of background music in vids since it limits global circulation :(

  • one of the other problems with phillips is that the "angle" of the star may differ so you might need a fater drive or a more pointy one.....shit lolllll the only good one is robertson...you are soo corect...well as always you are lol great vid Sean!

  • Thanks for this video. I have actually been thinking about building my own computer. I just need the money. But i would have been lost without this. Thank you very much for posting!

  • @ravebellrock2 You're most welcome!

  • Did You use Brass standoffs for the motherboard in the case? Or does that case need them?

  • @steventj632000 Doesn't need them. The screw holes are actually raised up off the surface of the case, so the only part of the case that actually makes contact with the board is the screw holes and the very outer edge.

  • Nice work. :)

I recommend to try a couple Solid State Drives in the future. Actually their better off being used in the RAID 0 array. It would speed up access time and preformance. ....but they can be expensive and all.. Just saying. :)

  • @Poshua92 Oh my yes, I hope to be able to go ALL solid state at some point, once the price comes down and the capacity is more comparable to regular hard drives. Love the idea of SS drives, really hope they catch on and stick around.

  • Yes, capacity and perhaps writing could be improved a bit, compared to the HDD. XD

  • that's a really bad idea to install the mobo on carpet, especially without any static protection. I blew a motherboard doing that.. never doing that again.

  • @finddestiny It never made contact with the carpet at any time. I set it down on the cardboard box (which doesn't conduct electricity) and always dis-charged myself before touching it. And as I've said in other comments, the air here isn't dry enough for static electricity to be a major concern anyway. But I'm careful regardless (and don't have a table big enough for this kind of operation anyway).

  • @MarkOmo83 Bingo! ;)

  • you are awesome

  • @canaidiangator17 No, YOU'RE awesome!

  • awsyum street fighter music? Yeah

  • Part 4 tonight, or do we have to wait until the morrow?

  • @iamnottomgreen Tonight. Rendering now, then it'll be on its way up. And while that's uploading, I'll be editing Part 5. For now, I'm going to watch some Star Trek. :D

  • @MarkOmo83 Taking my first.

  • You make a great teacher tbh.

  • @Slmjm884 Aw shucks...thanks!

  • I was wondering why there were 4 comments a mere 2 minutes after the video was posted...and it was just two silly people fighting over who was "FIRST!" Sigh...

  • @Zaranyzerak

Welcome to youtube lol. Its amusing and sad at the same time.

  • @MarkOmo83 Damn you.....

  • First!
