Pond Fish Feeding (Goldfish and Koi) in backyard

Very nice I own like five shubunkin fish that I really like and hope to build a pond for them in the future

We build a pond yestearday,with three levels of depth.The first level is about 10cm,second about 30cm,and the third about 1m.The water in first lvl looks okay,in second level is ''yellowing'',and in third one i almost cant see the bottom.We build a filter but nothing,its not changing colour.If i put a fish,will it be okay or will it get sick?

@SinishaTheScoper In my opinion, I would wait a few days before adding fish. I ran my pond about three days before adding fish for the first time. Good luck!

thats a butiful pond i realy think ure water fall is great it makes a really good feature i think its nice to have a mix of small and large fish in a pond like you have instead of haveing loads a similar size great vid

its a good place for your fishes I would give you my ID Shark :) I have some of the original carps in my pond of all kind they are ok if you put them together with goldfishes and kois

Wow, I never heard of an ID shark. I just looked it up and they look really neat. I'm surprised that you can put them in your pond with goldfish and koi. Our winters can get pretty cold, do these sharks do ok in colder water?

thats the prob with them :D if the weather gets cold then you must put them in a tank :) they are from asia

I guess I am just lucky! Actually, I feed the fish every day during the warm season and I make sure that the large white butterfly koi gets plenty of extra food. They eat a lot of the algae and have never really bothered the plants. All of the plants are now growing in the pond without pots, so they are really anchored in =D

I have always called the koi a him.  But, how can you tell that it is a male??

WOW....You have a very beautiful white dragon koi...i love it....lol well i call buttery koi dragon because of there nice long fins makes them look kinda like a dragon when u look from the top (^__^)
