@Mercuziopianist there is ! i got a piano book with the 200 best movie theme songs and this one is also in it, but i think yours is played in a diffrent key to be honest, or mabye its just the sound of the Yamaha that makes it sound diffrent for me.

This was played on a Clavinova wasn't it? Absolutely magnificent. Mere words could never express the haunting sorrow and darkness in this piece. This is a true work of art, straight from the beat of a suffering heart. There is so much confusion, innocence and pain, it is...just utterly overwhelming.

@TraceurHarryG1 I think Spielberg wanted it to be in black and white to reflect the lifeless mood of the holocaust. For instance, at the beginning of the movie it is in color, and it shows the Shabbat candle being blown out, and it turns to black and white, signifying the sudden diminishing of jewish culture. He uses color with the little girl in the red coat to signify her youth and innocence which is surrounded by horror and death.
