@trapingman Well, it is more crossbow than slingshot, as it has a lock and trigger mechanism. I call this weapon type "sling-x-bow".

Joerg, apply some graphite from pencil to the hand pump, at the inner channel where it slides on. You can just scribble the portion black with the pencil. Or use talcum powder if you dont want it get black. The pump action will become smooth.

Very cool design, you may benefit from using Teflon sheeting cut down to run along in your slot that your pump action mechanism uses, they may enable a much quick pumping action by reducing friction as well making your slide much tighter fit, just some thoughts love the gun man.

If you add a handle onto the pump, you can make reloading much easier, with less strength needed

an gatling slingshot that can fire continuously, perhaps using the reloading mechanism here that is geared with the hand crank
