I live in Columbia (which only has 100,000 people in it), and these guys pull this stuff all the time. A look to the links at right will reveal videos of cops shooting a taser at a man suspected of public urination behind the bar where I work, a video of them tasing a man who was in the process of surrendering (who then fell from a bridge) and street demonstrations against the department. We have some real issues around here.

Having a search warrant does not mean that they have the right and use excessive force on animals being harmless. The dog was BARKING at 6 men with huge guns that he has never seen before, while they are screaming and yelling. What should the dog do? Not bark? You don't need to kill the dog because it was scared. There were at least 4 or 5 people just standing there. One of theme could easily have held the dog.
