  • I grew up in a house two blocks from this crossing! The building on the far right of the video used to be a service station. My dad drove a propane truck for years for the man that owned it. Small world, huh????

  • Yea justin. im from campbell. there is a skating rink. called Uptown skate. i didnt think it would go over good but it seems to be doing really well. I cant believe campbell is on youtube lol.

  • Dude, I have #9711 in HO model form! Awesome!

  • Cool. I had 9711 as the leader of my consist once. It shut down and we couldn't get it restarted. It was a pain in the ass.

  • ironic, my 9711 is a dummy unit. I wonder...

  • I used to live in campbell... :D In the old white house on N Main... My grandparents live there now.. :D I believe they built a skating place across from it.. Im not too sure. :/ Anyoen know the place?.

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO!

  • I shot a Flags~n~Flares SD70M two weeks ago.

  • There's a Columbus and Greenville Boxcar in the video.

  • It has a 3-Chime. Only 80 or so UP SD70M's have 5-Chime horns. This isn't one of them.

  • Thanks.

  • How many trains are there through this location?

  • Usually in the neighborhood of 50 per day, all but about 2 or 3 being southbounds, since we're on directional running here.

Right now it's spiked a little bit for the Kansas flood detours, but it's usually around 40-50.

  • eh... I wouldn't say there is 50 coming through...

  • i live here that's why im sayin..

  • I lived in Malden for 2 years on the same line 8 miles away. Trust me, there's good 40. At the time I left that comment (last summer), there were around 50 with the flood detours since the lines in Kansas were washed out. I specifically mentioned that spike in traffic in my other comment.

  • Full volume is essential with this clip because it is suitably NOISY! Very nice. Cheers!

  • Love watching American Trains, even diesel ones!

  • Thanks for the comment. They're a lot of fun, especially when they're being particularly loud or at a particularly high rate of speed.

  • LOL! The vid ran again 'cos I read your comment, but I'd got the speakers on full volume! It could alarm the neighbours in this apartment block in London, which, incidentally, is built on the track bed of a line that closed in 1917!
