If my knowledge of American history is correct, (which it might not be)..I remember learning that the Americans fought for their freedom themselves out of their own will. Not by some country impossing a revolution on them. All I'm saying is we had our wars and our disputes. Why not just let them go at it ? And the last one people wanted a change and voted for a democrat: Jimmy Carter. The results of the study don't mean anything at all.

1. The study proves (assuming that it was conducted properly, and it appears to be), that the media was slanted drastically to the left at the time the study was completed. 2. They wanted a change from Nixon, or from Nixon, Johnson and Kennedy (beginning with Kennedy initiating action in Vietnam)?
3. Media bias does not NECESSARILY equate directly to votes. Some folks see through propaganda, to some degree, but is sure does have an effect.

Dame Elizabeth Rupert Murdochs mother lives on an estate up the road from here in the southern bayside area of Melbourne (Australia).
Almost 100 and still very switched on, she says she doesnt talk politics with Rupert because they are opposites: she is amazingly generous to homeless and mental illness charities. It is like her profession. Heres hoping one day shell take him over her knee and give him a good red-assed spanking already.
