I did that with 4000 balls, and half of them just traspassed the colision plane that served as a floor. not even resizeing the bound on the balls helped -as one Blender user suggested-. ¿what is the secret here?
I'm trying to do this on Blender 2.481 at the moment but cannot figure out how to make the balls bounce off each other, help please!!! How did you do this?
Assign a material to the balls and any surface they will bounce off. For ALL materials under the material tab select DYN. Adjust the Restitut figure to get the amount of bounce you want.

Also set the objects as rigid bodies in the physics section so they better react to collisions.
