how about this, take two weeks off, then quit, the best you can do with that swing is probably single digit handicap and thats ok if you want to be an 8 or a 9, but thats pretty much all you can expect, and that swing will never hold under pressure, having to hit the fairway on the 18th hole, tied and you are betting your own money, say 5k, bet you couldn't even come close to hitting the fairway, then the green, then making a putt

I'd say the swing is ok considering that was meant to be a massive fade. And it's not how you hit a full iron shot that determines how good you are. It's how many you take to get it in the hole.

scratch players and pros can all fade at will and you need to be able to to play good golf. the contact is really good

undeniably you'd need a whole range of shots in your arsenal to play good golf. however a fade is played with a slightly opened face, not by hitting across with divot left. look at the swing path, its rather outside in. but whatever works =)

He puts it right in the slot on the way down. this guys swing is crap, he just cuts across it, theres no way hes a scratch. By the way, do you have a front view? I'm just guessing that you might have a slight reverse pivot, or a shade too much weight hanging on the left side as you move through your backswing. Not severe, just a bit.

I don't think it's so bad. You do stand up on it a bit through impact and beyond, but I think that's more a result of having a bit of an upper-body-dominated downswing. You do have an outside-in path that you ought to fix, probably by working on a downswing that starts from the ground up, particularly holding your shoulders back rather than letting them be the motivating force, esp. in the early part of the downswing. You're doing some things fairly well, though.

Very nice swing. You have nice balance as well. Looks like you could hit a low score to me. (I don't see a slice, looks like a fade.) Although, in my opinion, getting to the green isn't the hard part, it's chipping and putting that separates the low handicapper from the scratch golfer. But, who wants to watch chipping and putting demo's from people? :-)

The main problem with your swing is its too steep. Its needs to by flatter. Check the club angle halfway back in your swing when practising to improve it.  Good tempo though.
