This reference is probably why you can play as a female Halo Spartan in Dead or alive for, which is made by the same company that makes the new NG, (this is another series in which Ryu is one of the main characters). Or, Maybe the Spartan in DOA caused Bungie (the creator of Halo) to reference Ryu in Halo 3. I dunno.

Second, IF that was ACTUALLY RYU HAYABUSA under the armor (I'm assuming it is), then the MC would have to deal with someone who can stop time, teleport, CLONE himself to do 3x damage,REGENERATE, KILL THE DEVIL AND LIVE, and more.A blast of Hayabusa's "Hadouken" would overload the chief's energy shields,and Hayabusa is hypersonic,so chief of the novels=lose.
