shouting and voice prejection are two different things voice projection comes from the diaphram its belting a note out you need stamina and good breathing technique to do it and it takes alot of practice.

@Everydayislikesun1 it's called voice projection...not shouting. If you're going to criticise.....at least get the technicalities right. And yes, voice projection IS singing, just the same as you ARE a bit of a knob.

@Everydayislikesun1 no..."voice projection" is the strength of speaking or singing clearly and audibly. Shouting is uncontrolled. projecting your voice is a skill that takes time. She's not got it fully yet but she deffo does not shout.

PHENOMENAL. I can't explain how amazing this is. Gave me shivers all over. Her voice is just so beautiful, could listen to her all day. Best performance of the series by a long way. Chuffed she's going to be doing Tuesdays, booked my ticket :-)

by her being able to get better and better it shows that she's better then the contestents on there as she dosnt have a 'ceiling' in her voice, she can sing with a wide range of vocals. She will be great in west end in the future. BEST CONTESTANT EVER

Listening to this back, it's ridiculous how controlled a vocal it is - the wild amount of pressure, the constant high notes, it's a potential minefield, and she keeps it together BRILLIANTLY! You didn't win, Sophie, but you really smashed it out of the park here. Well done!

@LittleMissLar I agree. Danielle always got given the BIG songs, as in like...band wise or whatever. Sophie always made simple songs amazing. and Lauren was just amazing.

@LittleMissLar they were given songs that play to their strenghts, lauren's strength is her vocal range, sophie's is being able to sing high notes sweetly and not shout them, and danielle acts the lyrics. Personally I think danielle had the hardest song because she was dancing in very high heels singing an energetic song with energetic choreography and had a song that is difficult to bring flair to. But that is just my opinion :)
