Flapping wouldn't hurt anybody if (some) people from mainstream society could appreciate people's differences more. Then the people who get hurt are the family affected by autism, and sometimes the autistic individual.

after I asked my mom if I could get this little mini sewing machine and my mom said it was a rip off because it was priced $20 at a YARD SALE, and the old guy says "Are ya trying to Jew 'er?" And my mom is Jewish. Old people just say stupid things sometimes, but aren't trying to make anyone mad or offend.
My son Brandon is 7 and When sitting in Mcdonalds I didn't hear the boy too well but he said the same "If he keeps flapping hes gonna fly" along the lines of that. Brandon flaps alot!!! I have 2 other boys who love th brother. It is sad we don't go out as often I agree w/ you 100% You give me inspiration to go out again!!!!!
