The first song I listened to by Dir en Grey was Cage. I listened to thier lighter stuff at first, starting to listen to the Final. From The Final I decided to listen to the original cleaver sleazoid. From there I just started listening to thier new songs. Now I have WtD and both Decades. I can't wait for thier new album that I am going to be expecting to be released in Japan in about August. Yay new album

i first listened to em and im like meh theyre....ok... but the first song i heard was pink killer. than i got obscure and i had a heart attack i love that song! slowly i started to get into them and now i love them all! i could never choose between Kyo or Die. they are both so amazing... and i know i sound like a crushing fan girl but hell theyre amazing.

The first song I listened to by Dir en Grey was Cage. I listened to thier lighter stuff at first, starting to listen to the Final. From The Final I decided to listen to the original cleaver sleazoid. From there I just started listening to thier new songs. Now I have WtD and both Decades. I can't wait for thier new album that I am going to be expecting to be released in Japan in about August. Yay new album

Dir en Grey was mine 1st jrock band that got me into the whole genre too! I've listened jrock only about 2month! And i'm totally crushed into that! My first song was Saku and that was scary, but now i love that song O.o

even though this isnt off the marrow of a bone album...which i recently obtained at a ohayocon 2008....i still have to say that this is one of the best songs so far.....i am also a fan of other jrock bands...but dir en grey was the 1st jrock band that got me into the whole genre.

i first listened to em and im like meh theyre....ok... but the first song i heard was pink killer. than i got obscure and i had a heart attack i love that song! slowly i started to get into them and now i love them all! i could never choose between Kyo or Die. they are both so amazing... and i know i sound like a crushing fan girl but hell theyre amazing.

yeah i seen them once live it was awesome then he took out a razer and cut his ribs area 3 times...then he started beating himself up i was like wow...its like me when i dont wanna beat someone up but im really pissed at that person so i beat myself up..only like a bit more...but other then that the concert was awesome ill never forget it ^.^

it IS real...but its something that they do.
and yes, their music rocks, but it's also something that diru is KNOWN for.
its one of the things that make their concerts so memoriable.
and since they are aging (sadly) its not done so much at concerts anymore.
In February at the Inward Scream tour, he only scratched himself a little and barely fishhooked.
So if you don't like it, it seems they aren't continuing it as bad as it once was.
