I've been playing since around this time, and was a big G and R fan, and I always thought Matt was infinitely better than Steve. He's pretty much the definition of solid. I think people are just used to hearing more of Adler. There's stuff on the Illusions he never would have been able to pull off, even when he was sober/clean.

Well I'ma be honest, I've been a GNR fan all my life, I'm 30 now! I loved Steven when he was in the band. I loved Matt when he was in the band as well, and I've seen a lot of great shit from Matt in all those years, but I have to say that I'm widely disappointed in this drum solo. The sound is pretty basic coming from Matt for a band this huge. He's got it in him, I know he does. This just isn't one of them... I still believe he can take on Steve! I still love you Matti! Rock on baby!!
