Paul believes in the blowback theory behind 9/11, and I think there's some truth to 9/11 truth hypotheses and truth to blowback.

Here in NZ, the Christchurch city council has banned open fires in private homes. Inspectors are going around boarding up fireplaces. The reason given is to reduce smog. You are only allowed to use an electric system or an 'approved' pellet burning fire. For both of these you will be dependent on someone else for fuel. Humans have been warming themselves with fire since the beginning of time. I guess next we will not be able to eat vegetables from our garden because they are not 'approved'.

I work as a Carpenter in the Seattle area. My friends also work as journeyman carpenters in the local unions. The unions are not hiring and people that used to work for $30+/hr = full benefits. Now they are asking for work on craigslist for $15/hr and no benefits. It's getting bad almost everywhere. Maybe it will get so bad that they cannot enforce non-violent Mary Jane laws and they have to legalize and regulate. I doubt it though since they make so much off the drug war as it is.

Flying cars would definitely end traffic and gridlock. Instead of having 2-6 lanes going one way with bumper to bumper traffic, you could have 10 (or more) lanes high stacked on top of each other, in addition to the ground. Of course there would need to be some "rules of the road" generally agreed upon by drivers of these flying cars, but it would end heavy traffic and gridlock, and drastically improve productivity in the USA. Sign me up - I want as flying car as soon as one is available.
