i have a kadett too. only mine is 1.6s with a carburator. it doesn't seem like much but it goes 60 km/h in first gear and 130 km/h in second

how can this 1.6 kadett take only 10.2 sec to 100/kmh..this is a fake..it has most 75hp..my VW Bora 1.9TDI 90hp takes 12.5 sec and this one should take 10.2..cmon dude..we're not stupid..

the Kadett has a weight of 885kg and your bora about ~1300 or more

I dont have the kadett any more so i cant show you that it has really 75hp

@Freak2803 My dad also used to have a Opel Kadett 1.6i Surpreme from 1989. It was very light and ours was without a catalyst to hold it back. Even the guys at the Opel workshop said it was creepy fast for a 1.6i ghehe

@Freak2803 I am sure the 1.3 has 75hp and the 1.6 has 90hp and the 1.8 fuel injected engine for the GTE has 115hp.

my friend had 1.6....but i dough it had 75 hp :) cuz if it had wings it would fly xD just he wasnt fast ass my stilo 115 hp bus with 1.4t of weight.....looses power in third gear!!!! no he replaced that 1.6 with 2.0 16V 150 hps.....hes eating the road....had 1/4 miles eaten in 15 low very low xD and had an accident....now hes preparing MV6 engine to put in it xD SICK!!!!!

my buddie has the same.....he was with me in the race all the way to the 3 gear.....I drive fiat stilo 1.9 JDT after 3 gear he does behind me :D

no no no......my is 85 KW....had stop watch xD from 0-60 goes in like 11.5 sec xD 1.6i kadett have the same time but from 60 to 120 xD it's slower then stilo :D

yeah after the 3 gear the Kadett has no power XD but xVinnieMoorex i bet i would had beat your stilo with my Kadett.

in the accleration in first 3 gears the Kadett is very good for 75Ps, this vid shows it

hehehe..lol..I've beat the kadett 1.8 90ps with my stilo,it was hard but I've done it..and you should beat me with the 1.6?lol..I've beat my own bora 90ps with my stilo easy..yes you're right,kadett has a light weight but..doesn't matter..

@xVinnieMoorex It's not fake i have a kadett 1.6i 8v 75hp and if you know how to shift it goes like hell :) in 2nd gear my kadett goes well over 90 km/h and in 3rd gear has the best accelaration so it's no big deal 10 sec for this one. Respect 4 the driver :D

you a have a diesel car dude, DIESEL!!!  i can beat audis A3 tdi 90hp with no problems.

This definitely not a fake. Those cars from the 80s were really light-weight. Cars today are built like tanks. They are safer, more airbags, more noise dampening, electronic gadgets, but they're also much heavier. Today a Golf weighs more than the first Audi A6 model used to weigh back in the 90s.

Performancewise, you got more bang for the buck back then.

Kadetts had very short gears, That's why they accellerated so well. Top speed wasn't that impressive, though.
