Obama wants to remove our troops from Iraq immediately REGARDLESS of conditions on the ground. If the US leaves Iraq unstable, that vacuum will be filled by Iran. The only way LBJ got it passed was by playing on the sympathies of a morning nation, asking for the passage of the bill as a tribute to Jack, and it WAS a tribute to Jack.
