  • I had similar type setup last summer. Though I had a pipe going through my headlight venting air straight into a boxed off intake. Couldn`t feel any power gains but it ran smoother and got better mpg

  • Don't pay attention to them. Do what you gotta do man. Check out Mazda626.net, great place for all 626 owners. It's a very friendly place.

  • I've seen an antifreeze jug with the bottom cut out of it, with the opened bottom behind the bumper, used as forced air intake, and the opening had a tube going into the air box, worked great. Nice job. A little creativity never hurt anybody.

  • awesome gave me a great idea as well

  • Ive seen worse then this I work on cars for a living. Ihad this guy come in with a Honda civic hatch back and he add no filter in his box and where his tube came into the box.... at the end of the tube he add a sock on it,, i like yours much better lol GJ

  • how did you do awat with the sencer on the air box it self? 93 6 owner my self.

  • i think you should close that dryer vent off completely. like make an air box that encloses the whole cone filter. thatd probably get the best power. or if you still want some warm air, put a small hole in the airbox.

  • hey listen everyone.....stop being assholes. im just going to remove your comments anyways so you wont have your 5 seconds of fame on youtube. I explained this before. $500 winter car, logicically Im not going to spend a fortune on an intake. the intake is made of aluminum. the dryer vent is bringing fresh air from the lower grille. whats wrong with that? this video is here so people can here the 2.0 fs engine in probes, 626's without the stock intake box.

    Get over it.

  • i feel that bro...... i made my intake with shit around the house and some plastic chrome tubing i found

  • is that aluminum foil?! oh gawd

  • no its not aluminum foil you moron. its a dryer vent thats made of aluminum foil. ever see nascar or lemans before? they use it all the time to help circulate air. and why would I spend $300 on an intake on a car that cost $500. my intake cost $15 and some spare parts I had lying around. I rather make my own items than have some jerk make them for me.
