Did you notice any big power gain. What type of intake manifold are you running. I have a 67 Buick Special with the 225 v6 odd fire motor and was thinking about doing this also. I just put a HEI in it and 2 1/4 dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. I did notice a big power gain. Thank You :)
Yes. A big power gain. But that could be because my old carb was not working quite right. I've got a good choke now and steady power all throughout the RPM band. The only thing I had to do was tune the jets to hit the optimal A/F ratio and power. It was tuned a tiny bit lean when I installed it. The screws came tuned optimally from Holley.
