Spending was fine when Bush was trying to establish a Christian empire so we wouldn't have so many other cultures to fear. But Conservatives aren't interested in a budget based on humanism. Education means workers are harder to control. People who want more of an explanation than "God's Will" demand more from their leaders than a culture of 'with us or against us'. Want small Gov't?
