  • Great video from 1975! I just restrung my Wilson Jack Kramer(same one he puts on the machine at 2:22). Let me clear up 2 small mistakes he makes on the crosses. He tells you to count 6 holes and put in the first cross string and tie off on the 5th hole. That actually should be 7th and tie off on the 6th. Also, start the crosses on the other side of the racquet where the seven holes are linked. I have to tell you, this was the video that inspired me to get a machine for my wooden racquets!

  • I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video.

    Thank you.

  • I've seen that oldschool stringer before. I's constant pull too. With no technology

  • No wait, I'm sorry, I take it back, right at 3:55 I see what I've been looking to learn. I'm going to get the Gamma X2 and do a one piece stringing on my wood racquets. I can use a second racquet to model off of how the pattern is going, as I'm working on the other one. Thanks again to Sitruc47

  • It's a shame, this could have been a good instructional video on how to string the older wooden models, instead it's a comedy that hardly teaches anything.
