Amazing story. It's too long a tale to get into here, but my mom's quarter horse mare had a catastrophic injury when she was about 3 and a half. She was attacked by another horse and sustained injuries so bad that we were told multiple times by many horse people and at least two vets that putting her down was the only option. But like Chuck, this mare was a fighter. Now, almost 4 years later, she's become quite an athlete, loves to be ridden and can't wait to be given a real job.
I'm from Holland, so I don't understand English as well. But what I just saw was so amazing, I do not care to hear some things not, because the clips say enough. I was crying and if I live near of you, I would definitly visit you and Chuck. You and Chuck are a amazing team!
omg this video made me cry so much........i had a horse named sebastian he had such a big heart and one day he broke his leg and they had to put him down ...he had been the first horse i had ever had and trained for barrel racing :'( ..your horse is amazing and i hope he gets better to run some barrels
This story made me cry. I'm so glad they could save him. He looks like an AMAZING horse and anyone can see that you and him have a great relationship. congrats for everything you have accomplished with this stallion. :)
this must have cost you a fortune but i would have done it all fo my mare chula she a great retired race horse and if she was ever taken away from me i would kill my self
that is an amazing story, weems and stephens are my vets, they saved a mare of mine that I rescued ,she had an infected coffin bone, she is alive today because of them
i dont know what i would do if that happened to either one of my boys i would be so lost!! you and chuck are an insperation! keep your head up he is going to come back and live a long happy life. best of luck!!!! ive been keeping up with all the videos you have posted about his recovery, hes one tuff cookie. sending the best well wishes your and chucks way :)
I found this video last night and I've already watched it 4 times. I can't get enough of it. It is so hard for me to put into words what I feel for my horses, but I can feel that you, Fallon, feel what I feel. It is something I was born with, waaaay before I had my own. Chuck sure is a very rare miracle. And what a blessing that his babies already carry on his amazing traits. Thank you for sharing your amazing story of love, devotion, heartbreak and recovery. From one north TX girl to another.

I plan to go to USA next year, and Dynasty is already included in my travel plane, I would love to have some lessons on barrel horse training with you, if possible. The story of you two is awesome and inspiring. You and Chuck have a super fan in Brazil!

Hey Fallon just seeing this story about Chuck for the first time. He is one amazing horse. I am a farrier/barrel racer and was wondering if you had pictures of his foot during the healing process. As well as what your vets and farriers did for him. I know many farriers with the American Farrier Association that would be very interested in learning from a healing process like this. If you would make a video i would love to share it with as many as possible. Thanks :)
I have a 2 year old Mule that is my One in A Million! Her name is Stella! I know what you mean when you have "The One" Your story is amazing! I am so happy that Chuck is doing well and that he had the heart and brain to survive such a tragic accident. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Chuck and his babies!
he is blessed to have you and you him. so glad he is on the way to recovery! around here alot of people show walkers with pads or weighted shoes we do not however and i have seen horses shear their hoof off to the corinary band, very traumatic injury some come back from it and some dont, so glad you did everything possible for him not many people would. please keep us updated on him you guys are an inspiration!
My wife (Dawn) works for Weems & Stephens Equine Hospital and told me to look up your video here. I've actually held the hoof that was tore off and couldn't believe that is what happened. They do some really great things with horses at that hospital.
You are such an inspiration! I can't even begin to tell you how much I look up to you and your horses. I'm a 14 year old barrel racer, and I am beginning to train my first horse, his progress is impressive, only because I've been using your barrel tips! I can never thank you enough for doing all that you have done for you, your horse, and everyone in the barrel racing community!
wow this is amazing an amazing story ! I cant believe he fully recovered! i'm so impressed.. never let him go because he is Ur miracle and GOD has a purpose for him being here.
