The film was rubbish compared to the books. What annoyed me tons was how...nice (?)...Arya acted to Eragon. Not that she is nasty in the book, but she is more aloof. And how could they leave out Sobelum? =o
Imo they need to completely remake the movie of the first book. They left out soooo many important details and almost completely changed the story line. Also...Arya does not look like an elf nor does she share the same appearance as her character in the novel.
I understand things have to be left out to make a movie of a novel but not as much as was left out in this. Quite dissapointing.
I lovvve the books though so I hope they make it again! :)
i liked the movie it was obviously not gonna be the same as the book i mean not any movie besides sienna guillory did a good job playing arya the problem was the script not the actors
Arya's hair is black Eragon isn't blond and Arya's eyes arn't angled and her ears aren't pointed like the book describes. She looks human even though she is an elve. The book doesn't even tell about that spell till Brisingr. Also the Rider Sword really disappointed me, I thought they would be cool looking. Not just the same as any other sword. Just my opinion.
@SpiderPig115 ya and she isn't super pale and she wears a bunch oh leather and stuff now whenever i read eldest i can't get the red haired arya out of my head but they did a good job on eragon i think he fits it but saphira wasn't that good
@awesomeness1367 Saphira was good and Eragon is supposed to have brown or dark hair. Murtaugh came out the best. Arya is ok except she isn't that good looking and her hair is the wrong color.
@99frojo Eldest the movie will probably never come out since no one has the intention of making the movie and the book 4 should be coming out in the next 4 months. CP will probably give us the date of when its coming out during September
They didn't show Solembum, Elva, Katrina, Orik and they're gonna be very important later....

Yes actors did it very well and Saphira is very well made.. but why did they took so many thing of the book¡? things very important!!
-Brom´s way to die...he was killed by raz´ac not by Durza!
-Roran goes away because he wanted to work to buy his own farm to marry Katrina.
-Many thing about Murtagh he didnt want to go to the Vardens, he knew he will be discovered!
and other much more things!

I never saw the movie Eragon, but I've read the books. I wanted to see what Arya would look like. I thought she would look like a goddess!
