Thtas not even ventricular tachycardia. It's sinus tach. Ventricular tachycardia has to be above 150 if its not, its sinus tach.

No, cardioverted is NOT the same as defib. Defib. is unsynchronized and used with a pulseless patient, Cardioversion is synchronized, less jewels, and the patient has a pulse...just very irregular.

@dolphinsrule2008 No, it's not. Synchronize cardioversion is delivering an electrical stimulus at a certain time during the cardiac cycle, namely the r wave or during ventricular depolarization. Defibrillate the patient, there's a chance the stimulus could shock the patient during the vulnerable period of the cardiac cycle (the t wave, or the relative refractory period). If you defibrillate a patient when you should be cardioverting them you could send them into a lethal arrhythmia.

ya, its called cardioversion if she has an abnormal rhythm. defibrillation is if she has fibrillation. thats where the heart is just fluttering. HERE, she has an abnormal rhythm that needs to be corrected or ELSE she'll need defibrillation
