The Moon, an Unidentified Orbital Object (UOO)

NASA has not disclosed the true nature of our? moon. Therefore not being truely indentified to the public. So much is unknown about the lunar mass. It's surface (let alone what lies beneath) is still shrouded in mystery even after all the 'success' of the Apollo missions and assumed 'untouched' photographic satellite imagery.

There isn't a reason in the world why photos like these can't be in high resolution and crystal clear. No reason other than the government not wanting us to get a good look at what's down there. The tech to do it is at least 40 years old.

There IS hi-res mapping of the moon. Japanese satellites are doing it now. (live even) search and I'm sure you'll find the sites where all the data is stored.

The damn moon is covered in helium3 I would like to think our government was smart enough to start mining it. That would solve all of our fossil fuel problems, put tons of people to work, eliminate tons of hydrocarbons from the atmosphere, and stop tons of pollution to our planets environments. Why there's no detailed complete picture of the Moon (aka - Google Earth - mostly HIGH RES)?

What is best resolution possible from land based telescopes for recording surface of the moon?

Has Google ever pursued a high res. moon mapping that anyone knows of? If so, were they blocked? If not, cmon Google Earth, it's your obvious next big thing!

40 friggin years since we wnt there, and no high res. mapping to follow up? DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.

It is immensly frustrating that no really respected group/journalist/program looks at this. What is the scientific community's position on this? No evidence, therefore not an issue? Until and unless NASA/US Gov. release photos they admit need investigating, or independent (China? Russia?) information is released, this idea needs to be viewed as possible, but by NO MEANS certain. Personally, I think there is more to it, But how the cover up has been so effective is nothing short of phenominal!

I remember in the early 1960s seeing the Seattle Times and it showed a FULL PAGE photo of the moon showing several tall structures with shadows behind them. (The photo was taken by the first US spacecraft that orbited the moon and took photos of the side we don't see from earth). The title of that photo was "Strange Spires Sighted on Moon". It was NEVER mentioned again in any newspaper, book or magazine I could ever find... Can you spell COVER UP???

The Moon is far older that this planet by many millions of years. It was 'towed' into Earths orbit by an ancient race specifically to create the optimal conditions for life to evolve here. The 'barge' that towed it here is still on the Moon and can be still seen in the nasa and navy photos as well as the 'apollo 20' clips here on youtube. It is over 3 miles long, millions of years old and has extensive meteorite and erosion damage. Good Luck with Your Book!

i can't dispute that but the idea largely accepted today is that another planet collided with earth and the aftermath created the conditions we have on earth now and the left over created the moon. it was once a planet and most of its mass ended up combining with the earth to create what we have now the rest ended up as the moon
