@OmarLeKing If I recall on my very first playthrough I brought Zidane, Vivi, Quina and Amarant (well a definate magic user in there somewhere.) The experience pretty much scarred me for life and I never chose to bring a magic user to Oeilvert again.

@NeoDMC man i love this game...but these hints were SOOOOOOOOOO late in the game. It felt a bit tacked on. I think if maybe something like....kujas tail showing for a sec way earlier. the being a orphan wasnt enough...cause dagger and vivi are too. but hell the "you are not alone" sequence really makes up for it all XD

@NeoDMC I actually started to think Zidane was more than what he seemed the minute he told a little of his story to Garnet that night in the Black Mage Village, especially by comparing himself to Vivi. That's when I thought he is a thief. And a thief often has secrets that are good & bad, a duality to their overall nature that also makes them one. But when I got to Oelivert I was his ability to understand a forgotten language to me that was a smack in the head, saying "somethings up!".

@ecos715 They propably are best for Oeilvert, but choosing them will leave the rest of your party in desert palace in a biiiiig trouble. Also, you might need some healing while getting to Oeilvert. That's why you should choose one healer, and 3 tanks.

I took Quina for Gillionaire obviously, and it leaves Freya with the desert party group which imo is the best strat since you will get a ton of gil in oeilvert AND you can steal Holy Lance for freya which lets her hit enemies in the palace for 2.5k easy w/o jump. having magic only there is actually a pain in the ass.
