we recently watched this moving in art history class, and my professor mentioned the fact that basquiant had somewhat of a relationship with madonna. with this in mind, we began wondering if love was suppose to be an unsaid madonna figure, since her name in the credits is lady in pink or something similar.

Courtney's second part in this movie is even better: she sees Claire Forlani with her pink scarf, drifts through the crowd, and nonchalantly removes the scarf from Claire's shoulders saying "that's mine; it's mine" HEE HEE. Classic Courtney. Had she never met Kurt, she would have become a star on her own. Meeting and marrying Kurt was probably the worst thing she ever did for herself because she is now forever connected to him, even in death.
