  • daigo always goes for a special finish..i hate him :p.would really be frustrated if i played against him

  • two best players??? dont make me laugh. daigo is the best obviously.but poongko???

come to japan and ull know.

    dont watch EVO 09.

    watch "GODS GARDEN"

  • the end was awesome

  • These matches really undermine how incredibly good Poongko really is. The 4-1 win to Daigo is extremely misleading, because Poongko stayed super competitive the entire time, and Daigo was playing his A-Game at that.

Poongko's mentality reminds me of Leedy, just plain super aggressive and flashy, and Poongko does alot of reaction things. Like if you noticed he'll try to bait fireball to land Ultra/Super.

The craziest part was at 1:20, rofl, that 8-hit combo is a Ryu trademark beast!

  • ending was tite..

  • ULTRA COMBO FINIIIISH.

  • daigo loves to throw those fire balls

  • lol fireballl in the faceee

  • 1:20-1:24

  • Technicality vs Mind Games. Sick fight!

  • i think daigo is a little bit a everything....even against aggressive players...

  • "Can you give me second round?"

  • wow!! the two best ryu users in the world

daigo put one hell of a show again

  • nah, the korean guy is not the second bes ryut,

its some random jap guy down the street you've never heard of.

  • at 00:09-00:12 "which of this two will walk away a champion"

  • pongo has nice combos but is lacking in defense

  • Yea, the 2nd round was a guaranteed winner i thought, but Poongko barely survived lol

  • What a terrible commentator

  • when i watch the games again, poongko probably was out classed. But daigo and iyo are probably used to fighting turtle style to soak up the attack. poong should learn from them abit.

  • way to go out with style!

  • What? lol

On top of what you said, I doubt they could hear jack all in this environment.

  • Krsjin yeah i guess, but you stil dont want to sit next to the other guy, your usually facing away from your opposition or facing partially away but not side by side.

Its a new experience for poongko still so he's gotta learn to adapt by sbo 09 comes

  • sbo 09? Is that another Tourney? I missed this one cause I had no knowledge of it. I wanted to make everybody say, "who is this kid and where did he come from?!"

  • its true about the hearing part. but your also right so i they probably couldnt hear shit

  • That's why every tournament is played this way then? And who is your definition of "good player" as this is how JWong, Mike Ross, and the rest of them always play. Even the arcade cabs in most US locations are side by sides.

  • really dont they make the back to back cabs for sf4?

is it just side by sides?

  • They all have "remote play", but the cost of such a setup is pretty prohibitive. No-one can tell what the other person is going to do, there' just no way. At most you can hear if they're inputting or not, and I doubt you could even react to that if you wanted to.

  • America style, play next to your opponent like a MAN.

  • Dumbest style ever :P

  • Americans use words like "turtle", "balance" blah blah by the masses to talk down on people with fake laughter that impress no one because also in reality they are all just talk. Daigo never lost to a Sagat player in IV or Turbo and bitch "Sagat's overpowered, the game is not balanced."

Or Justin making the same "balanced" whining when he faces off against opponents using stronger or better characters.

But these stupid and worthless anus face failures and journeymen on the other hand will.

  • The EVO greats and other far better players around the world use who they like, do as they will and they do their best, and do not talk about such useless things.

"Balance" and "man fighting" are therefore losers' sanctuaries and are specifically for failures like them. It is not our duty to follow the fate of these sinking ships of inferior make.

  • You're making an argument out of satire? Fantastic. I'm expressing my dislike for head-to-head cabinets, shush.

  • daigo is simply too good. his regular opponents are head and shoulders above poongko's

  • mad

  • and Daigo never lost :D *sarcasm*

  • Nice Match and a lovely finish
